College life

Sometimes management really sucks. No alumni and scholarship should be given to students. More laboratory equipments should made available for students so that they cam learn in practical manner and not just theoretically. They do not offer any placements

IIT Gate exam. I qualified it and I tried to apply for my Phd studies based on this score. This score helped me get into NCL pune. It's a big research institute. I worked in Ncl for 2 years. IIT score is not valid in all institute so there's is no point in giving this exam.

Excellent, Very good I would say they are best. Microbiology department is known as one of the best college in Pune for microbiology and it's because of good teaching staff I would say. Teachers are really very good. They teach very well. They have good knowledge experience. They conducted practicals very well. Teaching vise it's one of the best college.

No stipend offered. Yeah I did some projects but we were never offered any money. I mean the project Was for 6 months. I did two projects. Our of which one was 6 months and the other was for 3 months. I also did my dissertation and it was for 9more than 9 months. No money was offered.

One campus recruitment and 10students were placed. Out of 60. I got placed as well. This was my first job. They didn't offered us too much it was very low 10000 rupees which is nothing. But since I wanted to get some expirence I decided to join and work. I worked in this company for 6 months.

Microfest is our cultural event which takes place every year in my college and in my department. It's different than the college events. It's just event of whole microbiology department people come together and celebrate. Even teachers participate. We have some dance game competition displays of art work posters etc. It's fun.

Feasible I would say not much expensive education. It's very less in my college since our college is government affiliated but my friends who were in other college they use to pay 10 times more what I had paid for the same education. So for me it was just 5000 and for my friends who were in different one they paid like 50000 per year.

Yeah scholarship was offered but it was just for people who were minorities like the one who belong to lower cast and not for others. So there was no scholarship or loan available and the fees wasn't much so I would say it was fine.

It's good I would say but not best. Sports activities goes on but it's not that good. Labs are ok but not best. Mostly all maharashtrians were there. Gender ratio was in Mt department more girls were there and guys were like 5-7. In class of 60 there were just 8 boys. So the gender ratio is not equal.

I didn't stayed so can't rate. But my friends who were staying there were not happy at all. They didn't liked the food. Plus three people have to share room together. So the college hostel facilities was not good plus it was very expensive.

We have alumni network but it's not because of college it's because we students are still interacting with our seniors. I haven't seen any alumni.I mean now a days I have people don't take this course because there's is lot of struggle and you don't get paid very well.

Very hectic. We were very busy after every month we use to give some exam. And final exam was the most hectic part. There was first internal exam and then one external exam which is conducted by University. So internal exams were more tough than the Unive
