Remarks

College is good but you'll have to face some issues related to your financial status because as I have already told you staff is good but the students there will treat according to how rich you're.

Course Curriculum Overview

They will teach you from the start each and every thing related to your subject but you have to focused on the lecture and they will give very good examples to explain anything to you, in 2nd year they will get you to the industrial visit like amul, L. G etc. But the one of the most the most important thing in this college there is no placements for the undergraduate students if you're doing master then you will get a chance for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is normal according to other colleges it's average like it's not to expensive or too cheap for bba its 35k inr for a year. And there is no additional fees so don't give to anyone if someone is asking ask teacher first in most of the cases they are not going to ask you even if they are asking avoid to going there.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship they that is not provide by the college that scolarship is provided by the state government, college will ask you 100 inr for a form, in most of the cases you'll get 70% of scholarship and somehow depending on your luck.

Campus Life

Campus life is good because infrastructure is good you're not going to bore there because there is a ground where you can sit and have some good time, there is proper basketball court but if you're expecting cricket ground or football ground then you're not going to get here, in this college they have all the labs you want to practice in your cource, gender equality is good they all will treat you as like you will treat them so be respectful to everyone if someone is not giving respect to you no problem you can treat them as what ever like they are treating to you.

Hostel Facilities

No, in our college there is no facility of living, even there is no in living campus facility you have to find your room outside of college according to your budget or facility you want in your home.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good. They will help you in most of the things but don't get to friendly with them. They will start using you so be alert talk to them only when you really need some help.

Admission

I opted this course because I want to do business and in this course they tell you many things realted to market and many things, I choose this college because this have good image and I have heard about teachers that they are really good and helpful in each and every thing. The admission process is very easy just get the form fill up and submit with documents written on form they will provide you fees slip just submit the fees and your admission is done, and one more options is there give university entrance exam from there according to your merit you will get your college.

Faculty

4.5

As I told you before the college faculty is really very great they have really very good teaching methods along with the examples, in 1st year you'll have 1 extra lecture of environment studies but that's not too tough, they will do skit to explain you chapters in easy way and industrial visit is normal like they will tell you many things one thing is that they are not going to give you certificate for that.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Placement Experience:

Packages aren't as good or big as NLUs as 4-5 lakhs is median and just 25% students gets placements from University. Most students though go for litigation and I am also going to do the same as this is how I want to build my career and take it forward. Even LLM is also an option and GLA University is the one from where I will do, if I plan to do masters.

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
