Remarks

College management is somewhat helpful when it comes to problems like drinking water, and some sporting facilities.

Entrance Preview

Exam to appear for is GUJCET: total 120 marks, i scored 42 out of 120. admission process: there is combined counselling for all colleges affiliated to gujarat technological university.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Being frank, there doesn't the word research exist in this college. only mug up and pass the exam kind of thing. there is no point of students doing research, because the faculties themselves are just recent graduates and not even post graduates. course curriculum i would like to rate as below average.

Internships Opportunities

As far as internships are concerned, they provide internship to almost half of the class and rest of the class have to find it by themselves and yes, they encourage us for going to internships by giving us 1-2 months during last year for this internship. stipend is not given to any students from electrical engineering during internships, but yes i heard of some mechanical students getting stipends of 3000+ rs/month.

Placement Experience

1.5

Yes our college provided placements to almost 70% of the batch(2012-2016 batch, but only 25% of those accepted the job offers latter because the salary was not satisfying which was about 5000-8000 a month on an average. Only two students from our batch got placed in a company where salary was around 15000/month.

College Events

4

Immaculate was our annual tech fest celebrated every year and prices given to the winners/achievers were too good. Electrical department used to celebrate elektrikos as a departmental event every year i which departments of electrical engineering of different colleges were participating enthusiastically.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As far as my knowledge is concerned, fees were somewhat expensive provided the teaching they used to provide us. but, the fees in saurashtra region where this college is located were ranging in between 30000-40000 per semester and our college fees were around 30000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities is not available in college, but scholarships they are giving to meritorious students for every semester, but that too was around 5000 per semester for topper.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio(girls:boys) in electrical was 1:5, in computer science almost 1:1, in mechanical (rare number of girls). Sports facility is very good i campus, also greenery is there in campus. bus facility is there but too costly. I enjoyed every moment that i lived here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I was not staying in hostel during my graduation, so i have not much idea about hostels but i used to stay at my friends' rooms in college hostel at times. Rooms were good and also facility in hostels was good. mess food was average and sports facilities like ground and equipment were good at hostels. Fees was around 60000 per year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis are helpful if they know you personally, not much good network. but few of my seniors are still in touch with me. and those guya are really helpful.

Exam Structure

There is only written exam that is final exam, and for internal marks we have to do some activities like tech activities and non tech activities. but, this scenario was changing every year and so was internal exam pattern. first year we had internal exams of 30 marks, and those who failed were given a chance provided they attend classes arranged during reading time, they were made to pass the internals. 2nd, 3rd year we have to do infotech and two technical activities for internals. again in fourth year, we had internal exams.

Faculty

1.5

Faculties in college were good during my first to semesters at college, then there were hardly 3-4 post graduates and that too consisted only 2 faculties from reputed colleges like nit. others were just so called faculties. but 2-3 faculties for subjects like power electronics were exceptionally good. even department of mathematics was also filled with very good and reputed faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
