Remarks

It was ranked the best. I checked many sites and found it to be the best among all for which I was chosen. I found from the alumnis that this is one of the best college in Odisha. The job profiles which are offered are also great.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was good. The faculties were experienced they reached to each of the students if we needed their help. They were very coperative and friendly. The course was designed keeping in mind the requirement of the company.

Placement Experience

These are more or less the same now a days. The profile offered was that of assistant software engineer. First we had to go through trainings after that we had to give a test. If we pass then we were provided the offer letters. So, anyone not having a good knowledge was automatically eliminated. The placement was decent.

College Events

There were event after every few months. I stayed at hostel so was always busy playing games and tournaments. The lanwires and the routers needed for gaming these all were supposed to be done by the students. College did not provide that facility. But there were many cultural events, music programs etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took education loan from bank. But there were many scholarship programs based on previous academic record and also based on the current performance of the students. The state government also offered many scholarships based on the annual income of the family to reduce its burden.

Campus Life

It was good. There was a huge library which consisted of many books by various authors. There was e-library where one could go and use internet for free. There were many internet bays there. The cricket ground and the football ground were the same but anyways we enjoyed playing there.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. Hostel was good. For the first year the room was shared by 4 members after that there were 3 members if you want 4 then it was also allowed. The hostel staffs were always active. The warden managed the hostel nicely. He carried checking to make sure there wasn't any illegal activities going around. Overall the experience was mindblowing.

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The campus life after college hours is quite engaging and helps us develop as a person.
Extra curricular activities are into multiple options.
Faculties are good in nature,they teach us like a friend.

Bad condition of the washrooms ,not cleaned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the real projects which help learn more practically. It would had been better to have more site and industrial visits and export sessions to learn better.The exams are not so difficulty to score.

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Silicon beyond teaching..

Eligibility is 60 percent in class 12 and jee marks are compulsory for ojee counseling. The college itself does counseling if asked by you, but Jee score is a must. Through counseling, you got a reservation on ojee ( economic backward class) reservation is there in college. You can also fill provision admission form from Google to get easily admission to this college during September-oct month of every year.
