Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really good and covers a wide range of areas under English literature unlike the usual undergraduate course in English. I found the course extremely useful as I had acquired the knowledge equal to that of an MA English graduate through this course

Placement Experience

4.5

An impressive lineup of recruitors which include big groups like Reliance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, L & T, Big Bazaar and Axis Bank are associated with the college. Over the years over 3000 students have been placed in various of these companies. I myself didn't sit for placement interview as I wished to continue my studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is relatively very much affordable considering the great facilities students get to enjoy at the institute. Each semester we have to pay an amount of 3000 and an additional 2500 at the time of admission which will include all the extra fees usually deducted. I found it very much a decent amount that most could afford.

Campus Life

Extracurricular Activities are given ample importance at the institute. The admission form has questions about our abilities in extracurricular activities. We have college fests and department based festivals organised from time to time that keeps the campus lively. Basketball and Football matches are also held once a year. I didn't face much of gender based discrimination during my tenure of study there. The institute ensures a safe and positive environment for their students.

Admission

The admission is done on merit basis. The mode of application is online and they begin receiving application at the month of May. I chose this college owing to the good reputation it earned over a short time (elected no. 1 private university in Jharkhand in 2018) as well as the great lineup of recruiters the college is associated with.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very much talented and devoted to their profession. They are also helpful and guide as to how to go about studying and doing research which I found very much helpful. They also guided us about the need to develop papers and attend conferences at the undergraduate level itself compared to other college students who start presenting only at MA level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Placements in our college start from 7th sem, some internships in 6th too. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini visited. Highest package around 12 LPA, average 3.5–4 LPA. About 70–75% students placed, others go for higher study or govt exams. My plan is to try campus first, then off?campus or masters later.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I has a vision to study English from the very beginning. I wanted to study English since i was good at English and also the most important thing was me being an isce student upto class 12 which inculcated a strong English base in me English as a subject is very vast. As the world is heading towards modernisation English has become a very important thing. Gossner college has good English professors and also i heard a lot from most of my seniors that gossner college has best English faculty. The frequency of exam is 2 exams per semester where the portion tought in the syllabus is asked and it's not very easy and not very tough too

Mechanical branch in terms of number of students placed is quite high but if it is about how many students get elite packages it's less. The average for our branch at our college is 8-9 lakhs but top companies which are into our core space for long are our college partners.

My plans after degree is to pursue masters or right away get on with my family business as we are already into trading chemicals. However, from the number of students from our stream that apply for jobs through campus, over 80% are placed from campus. Labs to industries that deals in manufacturing of chemicals and exporting the same are the ones where students of our college get the opportunity.

Highest package from our campus is eye catching as it's 56 lakhs and for chemical branch it was 34 lakhs. HUL, Sun Pharma, public limited labs and various R&D research centres are those that have helped us to get best available jobs in market as the competition is high but BIT Mesra has still managed to place over 80% students last year.
