Remarks

There was no eligibility requirement as such only thing is that u have completed your high school. You can visit the college when the admission is going on and enter the auditorium where you'll find HODs of different departments to whom you can contact for further discussion. You'll be required to fill up a form and then wait till the merit list is made if your name is in the list then you can pay your admission fees and the other necessary things required.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because i wanted to be a journalist which i am right now. Faculty here is very good, they help you with everything and are perfectly qualified i had one teacher doing phd. All in all they were nice taught a bunch of things to us gave us all the creative freedom and this is the best thing about this course you can be very creative, we made short films, music videos visited news studios, wrote poems and all that you can think of in this field. The exams were conducted regularly and were not that though that one needs to very much extra effort like if u attend the lectures regularly you'll be good

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I did an internship with chanakya live news and pioneer haryana. I worked there as a journalist cum camera operator. Stipend was given. Getting the internship depends whole lot on you, the teachers always kept us posted about the vacancies in the local news channels as well as newspapers. About everyone in my classroom was doing some kind of internship there wether working as a cinematographer with production houses or working as a copywriter. Sufficient opportunities were given to us in this regard

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no fees hike as long as I studied there the fees was relatively cheap compared to the colleges around. Whole course fees is under 1 lakh for 3 yrs. There were no campus jobs but if one wants he/she can do part tym jobs out of the campus, i did one too. There was no scholarship facility

Campus Life

4

There was a sports club of very much every sport. When I joined there were already tryouts going on for the intercollege teams. We had our news portal a weekly magazine. And there were different clubs for you to join. NCC camp was there and also the street play camp

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum influenced me the most and the syllabus system everything is that I am interested in . The curriculum prepares me by enhancing my knowledge in my field with proper guidance of faculty so that I can excel my skills in the real world. I think more focus should be on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge otherwise everything is best. Exams and tests were quite frequent,3 hours were given to complete each exam .Tests were taken thrice a month , sometimes twice and term exams were taken twice.

Placement Experience:

Our Institute also provide placement opportunities and students who are pursuing in sixth semester are eligible for placement. Recently, a company visited our Institute and selected many students for placement. But at that time I didn't remember the name of company and also no idea about the salary package. There are only 30 percent students were interested to getting placement. I prefer the journalism after getting my degree.
