Remarks

I have taken admission in B.ed after completing my graduation. The minimum marks is required is 55% in graduation and you need to qualify B.ed entrance test conducted by IP university. I get a good rank on the entrance test and get admission to FIMT easily. College provides reservation benefits during admission based on SC/ST and OBC.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because I have always wanted to become a teacher. B.ed help in to get private and goverment teaching job. All faculty members for our subject are nice and helpful. Few faculty members help in getting jobs also by their own contacts in school or alumni. Qualification of teachers are good and most of are M.ed or P.hd holder. The teaching method is mostly based on practical knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of course are comparatively high as compared to goverment colleges. The total fees for my course were around 150000 rupees. College provides financial assistance to needy students. There is no job on campus but you can earn a stipend during an internship.

Campus Life

5

The college has many clubs and societies like Thirak for dance, Palorid for photography, Aahang for music, Srijan for production, etc. Any student can join any society by doing registration. These all clubs and websites are managed by college students and faculty members. The library has a good number of books and journals available for students.

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.
