Remarks
1. Eligibility of the course: A minimum pass mark of 60% in 12th board exams. 2. Application process: You have to crack cucet examinations. Fees would be around 1000 per application. 3. Improvements in the admission process: A little more transparency would help it go a long way. Also, the college encourages direct registration to the course which actually makes the people who took the cucet examinations bit furiously.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. The college is directly coming under the ministry of textiles. 2. College has a very respectable student faculty ratio. 3. Most of them are MSC, MTech graduates and in general they are very friendly and try to help the students in all the ways possible. 3. Classroom listening would be more than enough to crack the exams and the curriculum is designed in such a way that you learn more without being pressurised.
Internships Opportunities
We had internships every semester which did not include any stipend. Except for the first sem, the other internships has to be discovered by the students themselves. Th internships include going to a mill, visiting offices, visiting buying houses etc.
Placement Experience
1. The students will be eligible for the campus in their final semester. 2. The highest package offered was around 2lpa by Tommy Hilfiger. 3. The percentage of students getting placed is very less as most opt for higher studies. 4. I have joined in collegedunia right now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees have been raised significantly for this year. The fees have almost doubled. When I joined it was just 16,500 but right now it's around 35000 from this current semester. This jump in fees hike is majorly due to the association of college with the central university of Tamil Nadu.
Campus Life
1. This college is an amazing place if you want to enjoy your life on campus with regular fests and competitions being held. Every government regulated function will be held grandly. 2. College has a respectable amount of books in various journals. 3. Projectors are present in every class and mostly it'll be presentation based classes. 4. Sports facilities are on the rise but the college doesn't encourage sports nor does it have a sizable strength to build a team of its own. 5. many clubs are inducted but are currently defunct as nobody is caring to take care of the operations of the club.
