Remarks
My experience of this college was both equally good and equally bad.
Entrance Preview
I took my college's own entrance exam test where in I scored 70% and I opted for this college because I have seen alumni's woek and I liked it plus this was the first college i got in.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course is good. And covering all the topics would give a good learning experience to the students who will be studying for it. 1 year is divided into 4 quarters and at the end of each quarter there will be a presentation/jury.
Internships Opportunities
The college do provide internships but if you are working while the college is going on then you have to attend class and then go for work. They are also stipend. Depends on company to company.
Placement Experience
There is an HR who looks for a job for everyone. She is pretty efficient at what she does. The college doesn't give a guarantee that each and every person in the college will be employed. It depends on what kind of portfolio you have and how does your interview does.
College Events
There were not many days celebrated in their first year. But second year there was those normal days like yellow day, red day etc etc. Every year we celebrated world photography day though. Sorry cant write 250 characters for a college which never really "celebrated" any days. Thank you
Fee Structure And Facilities
For post graduation the fees was 2,00,000 per year and if you stay in the hostel it was 50,000 when i was staying but that changes every year. This is what it is. It depends on what course you join. they have a different structure for undergraduates.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any kind of facility which is available for this college. I guess one can ask the management about it.
Campus Life
The college is small and by small i mean its a bunglow which is half college and half home to the person who is the dean of the college. there is no gender or racial problem, infact it is the easiest place to find a friend when you're new to the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is a pretty chilled out place. it a coed hostel where girls and boys stays in the same building but different floors. the rooms are also pretty good with washroom attached. they paint the rooms every year. The food in the start will be pretty good but it kinda goes down as the time passes.
Alumni/Alumna
they have a closed group page which is official from the college on facebook. students share their views and updates on the new technology or design on it. people also post of there are any kind of job requirements.
Exam Structure
We have dual degree course, which is post graduation and masters in mass comm(which was a distance learning). For the masters we had exams ones in a year and for post graduation we had to give our projects for a jury and present them. every student will be marked according to their projects.
Admission
First you need to fill the form, which will be followed by entrance exam in which the questions will consists of Quantitative Math, Analytical Reasoning, English Communication, English Comprehension and General Knowledge. Also, Design Problem Solving, Visual Sense, Observation & Perception, Environmental Awareness, Mental Ability and Communication skills through a range of visual and textual questions.
Faculty
The faculty in my first year was pretty good. They were experienced and qualified faculty. But in my second year everyone left the college. But I've heard college has got good faculties now. They generally will help you out with your projects too if youre stuck with something.
