Remarks

In all it was good college where we can study and can have fun. The management , staff, professors were all good and kind. I really enjoyed those 3 year of my life in MITS.

Entrance Preview

After completing the BCA, i wanted to go for Post Graduation. So i took the exam of IIT, AIMCA, MPMCA. In MPMCA got 69 / 100 marks. And selected this college as my second option, as its fees was low, and the education and placement was good as per past statistics.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was good and was really focused considering the type of work we do after MCA. It includes all the important subjects and taught in detail like. Data Structure, C, C++, Java, Oracle, System Analysis and Design, Operating Systems. And in the end there was 6 months project training, which we have the option to do under the professor of college , or we can do it outside under any company. I preferred to do under a company "Learning Management Solutions" from Bhopal. It was really a good learning in those 6 months.

Internships Opportunities

The placement will happen on 4th semester. So if you got selected then the company will provide the internship during last semester of 6 months duration, and the stipend depends on the company standards.

Placement Experience

3

There were ony 2 companies that came for MCA for 2013 batch. 1 : TCS - It was the first company that came to our college and selected around 80 students from the college, and 10 Students selected from MCA department, and offered a package of 3.2 LPA. 2 : Wipro - 8 Students were selected from MCA Department and the package was 2.8 LPA

College Events

4

There is an yearly college fest that is organized our college. CENARIUS-13 , There was large number of competitions like, rangoli, Treasure Hunt, Nukkad, What-If, Ad-Mad Show, TShirt Painting, Raaga, Gaming Fiesta, Mobile Shoot, Twist of Taste, Mask Painting, etc. were organized by the students. The Rock - Band competition was also organized in the evening, and at last Dr. Kumar Vishwas gave his presence and it was lot of fun. It was internal to our college only, so whole college participates in the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fes Structure is very feasible, as it is partial government owned. So except general class- The students get almost full refund of fees , who lies under the under - income zone. and even for general class , the fees is feasible. It was 35000 Per /year for MCA in 2013, which i considered feasible compared to other private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know of any scholarship , but education loan can be availed easily for it, But the fees is so minimal that it does not require any kind of loan.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender Ratio was 65% Male in 2010 when i got admission in MITS but now it is 50 - 50 . There are several sports and extracurricular events organized in MITS which go up to national level. And also there were seminars and workshops for Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing happening through out the year where we can learn about the latest technology. And there is no diversion based on race, ethnicity, cast, sexual orientation and gives equal opportunity to everyone.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The PG Cost was 30000/ Year includes rent and food. Seats depend on availability and FSFS basis. The quality of food was good compared to the mess outside. Hostel rooms was clean with 24/hr water supply and maid will come daily to clean the rooms. Extra charge needs to paid for washing clothes which is minimal.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors was really helpful and they provide us will all the help they can in all possible ways, be it studies, projects, carrier guidance. But we don't had much interaction with alumni's.

Exam Structure

Exams were like twice in a semester, every 2.5 months, but yet it was not hectic as we have sufficient time to learn the subject. And not like most of the regular colleges, the questions in the exams was mostly from what professors taught in the class. So we just have to go through the content of our copies. The college is affiliated to RGPV , but is autonomous so the professor made their own exam paper which was good.

Admission

After clearing MPMCA, we got the list online and got the college name, and the date of registration online. I went to the college on the day of registration , which was going on in a seminar hall, we got the form there and after all the verification of certificates, we got the registration form stamped and paid the initial deposit of 10,000 INR in the account department.

Faculty

4.5

About qualification : All the professors were well qualified for the subjects they teach, they have the great knowledge of their subjects. Way of Teaching : Each professor has its own unique way of teaching with common purpose that the student get it properly. All the professors were really helpful and will resolve all the queries we have, even after the class if we want to discuss anything, they make themselves available to us.

MCA placements start from 3rd semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra visit. Highest package around 7lpa, average is 3-3.5lpa. About 60-70% students get placed. Jobs are mostly in IT, Testing and Support. I plan to work in software and appear in tech exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a tech geek I like to work on computer or designing programs . The course was a ladder for my dreams but I come from a middle family and after searching a while I found that it's more suitable for me to study in a government college due to financial condition. They taught us well what was in our syllabus, I think if there were smart classes that should add a plus point in the college after all a course about computer applications and while teaching computers are not included sounds bad . Exams and tests were conducted time to time and as the course ascends exams get quite difficult.
