JU - Review

Jecrc university takes admission through 3 steps, 1st one is through Jee main entrance exam, 2nd one is through Reap application form and 3rd one is through direct walk-in. Application form is available on the jecrc university official web site, application form has 500rs fee, application dates are mentioned on their sites only . Jecrc university provides various courses with industry specializations in collaboration with (IBM, TCS, Microsoft,Xebia, samatrix,etc). B.Tech in various fields. I think the admission process is good. So doesn't require any improvement.

I choose computer science engineering with a specialization in AI & ML (IBM) because I have good interest in the computer & want to explore domains of AI. Faculty student ratio is not good. As one teacher explains to around 70 students. Some teachers are well qualified and some are not so good at teaching. Term exams was mostly on time and difficulty level of exam is not so high as you can pass the exam easily if you study one week before the exams

Only some companies offer interships like tcs,isro and for that you must have good skills and good projects are required to take internships. Stipend is given around 10-15k for whole internship. For interships you should try off campus interships.

In the 3rd year, students are eligible for placements. Means in 6th semester student are eligible for placements. Companies visited are Tcs, accenture, capgemini, hp, and mass recruiters and no of placed student are around 800 . Highest package offered is around 40 lpa and average package is around 4.5 lpa . Around 75 percent students are placed every year. My plan is to do M. Tech after my B. Tech from IIT.

In B.Tech the fees lie in between 1.5 lac to around 2 lac per year considering all the branches and industry specializations. Jecrc university also have scholarship and the criteria is 12th board exams result like if you have greater than 90% then you can avail 50% scholarship, above 85 percent and less than 90 you can have 35% scholarship and last scholarship is in 70percent marks then you can have 20% scholarship. jecrc university have placement every year around 4.5 lpa average package and internships in various start-ups and companies.

The annual fest is JU Rhythm and is conducted in the month of March. University has one central Library. The library is good. Sports facilities include cricket, football, American Football, (badminton, Table tennis only for hostels) , 1 Gym in the hostel. University has various clubs and societies like both technical and nontechnical (Technical - google crowdsource, developer student clubs, Microsoft learn student ambassadors, coding ninjas, HackerEarth, etc). Cultural - Dance club, music club, debating society, personality dev club, etc) these all are run by students.

Hostels are good. Facilities provided are wifi, flat-based rooms, cleaning facilities, table, chair, almirah. central mess is in university meal quality is very good. The menu is very good and is not fixed any changes sometimes. Hostels are expensive and not everyone can not afford hostels. There are 3 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel .l am currently living in a hostel
