Entrance Preview

Amity University Rajasthan have its own examination system. The entrance exam includes the objective type aptitude test along with subject wise objective test.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course designed is according to the guidelines given by UGC and industry oriented courses. The most of courses in 1st year of B-tech will be same for all the streams and from 2nd year the subject will be according to the stream selected by the candidate.

No internship will be provided by the college.

The placements department of Amity Main campus is good and provides help for Amity Jaipur campus. Student from Jaipur will need to go to Amity Noida Campus for recruitment process. The Placement record is good for Btech students if he/she have 60% score in the semester exams.

College Events

Technical event is of 2 days where every stream involve and organize different quizes and competition like robo war, combat robo war and games and prgramming competition. We also had some sessions during the technical events, however all these events were very boring.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you have 95% and above then you will 100% scholarship and if you want it to be continues then you must score good results in Amity University exams too. Most Banks in the country offer attractive education loans for students. For the benefit of prospective students at AMITY, we have tied up with premier nationalized banks Oriental Bank of Commerce and Allahabad Bank.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as other universities. We need to prepare for the exams in a proper way if we want to score good. Exams days are not hectic if we have attended the sessions regularly and completed the assignment on time. Labs are fully equipped and we don't find any difficulty for lab exam preparation. We have SGPA and CGPA scoring system.

Admission

The eligiblity criteria is 60% throughout 10th and 12th. The entrance test includes the exam : Obective type question based on syllabus of 12th for subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English. After entrance test, one must go through the Personal Interview where 2 people will take interview of the candidate and ask basic knowledge of subjects and interest.

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

Totally satisfied with the teaching quality, placements and the infrastructure of this college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Several high-profile companies ranging from IT, consulting, analytics, electronics, mechanical, civil, and pharma come to the campus for placements. Approx 95% of students get placed with an average CTC approx 9LPA and the highest being 35LPA. I plan on working in the company I got placed in and think about my future plans later.
