Remarks

i want to be a Financial advisory. its services are a big business. The course can imparts all the relevant knowledge & certifications required to successfully manage an Investment boutique, after requisite experience. The campus environment plays a substantial role in inculcating entrepreneurial skills and provide the relevant knowledge base amongst students.

i gave an entrance test which was held on all india level. i chose this college because the course is different from other colleges and provides good placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

the duration of the course is two years. it has four semesters in it. its a very unique course and very effective. as Indian customer is getting more aware of the financial products and their features and is not as naive as it used to be few years back. Financial planners would have to become more proficient and add more value to stay in the business. Average Financial Planners with superficial knowledge would not be able to survive in this scenario.

College Events

FAMILY EVENT IS A VERY UNIQUE EVENT WHICH IS HELD IN THE CAMPUS. Family Day is a great time to reconnect with family of the students. Great events are planned both on and off campus, with plenty of fun for the whole family. The main aim of the event is to showcase to the parents the 360(put degree sign) development of their child.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
