Entrance Preview

i was required to appear for “AMCAT (The AMCAT is a computer adaptive test which measures critical areas like communication skills, logical reasoning, quantitative skills, thus helping us to identify the suitability of a candidate.)” conducted by ICoFP. i have to undergo a rigorous selection procedure comprising of Written Test, Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI). All candidates who have appeared for CAT/ MAT can also apply for this program with their scores. later i was Short-listed and appear only for GD & PI. Group Discussion and personal interview are also integral components of the admissions process.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA in Financial Planning is an intensive two year program which offers dual degree provided jointly by ICoFP and UGC recognized university. This program incorporates the curriculum of all modules of CFPCM certification, which is a global qualification with presence in around 24 nations.

College Events

freshers party is one of the biggest & most important events on campus. Every year students are welcomed into the ICoFP family with a bash. The ICoFP’s Freshers Party happens at a high end & a hip place, selected by the students themselves. Lively music, special performances, scrumptious food and Mr. & Ms. Fresher are some of the highlights of the program.

Placement Experience:

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
