Remarks

I'll just say IVRI is the best place in india and even in asia for pursuing veterinary studies.

Entrance Preview

IVRI is allotted through AIPVT Merit based counselling, which now is conducted online. I managed to score 480/720 and attained AIR UR 255. I grabbed IVRI seat in 2nd round AIPVT counselling, prior to which i was attending Bangalore Vetico. It was certainly the sheer recommendation of my seniors there, who insisted to switch college to IVRI. "It is eventually every veterinarian's dream" is what they told me, and rest being positive brought me here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is in tandem with upgraded VCI revised curriculum, Which is just the same way, followed in any other vetico. The added benefit is certainly the valuable guidance and instructions of Scientist. Yes, you guys heard it right, IVRI is the only VET institute in which all the courses are thoroughly taught and explained by remarkable ICAR scientists.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, as prescribed by VCI, Internship program will be handled by IVRI. And what i can assure all aspirants IVRI provides one of the highest stipend across all Indian Veticos. Moreover, as a token of encouragement to the hardworking students, IVRI provides top 3 rankers monthly stipend of 5k, 4k, 3k respectively. And as all the students in IVRI are from all India quota (yes, no state wise reservations) they are eligible for NTS scholarship of 2k /month if a student maintains a CGPA of 7 & above. Unmatched and enticing, isn't it.

Placement Experience

4.5

Veterinary Sciences and research being a professional course just like medical line, doesn't actually requires college placements, certainly. But to help promote student's interests and diversify job openings, IVRI is committed to establish a UG Placement Cell near soon.

College Events

4.5

IVRI Student council is always the backbone of all events organized in IVRI i.e all the events are student managed. A whole list of events and fests including cultural nights, annual function, sports tournaments and events, events related to days of national importance, summits, research gatherings, are few of them. Being Central Government Aided Deemed University, IVRI celebrates all its events in a fully equipped and engaging manner, evident from huge participation and achievements of IVRIans.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i already mentioned before, IVRI being Indian institute i.e Central government aided University, the fee structure is, for sure, just cool for almost any student to work with. (easily feasible). To give rough figures for UR & OBC cat. Annual fee is 13000/-*And for SC & ST cat. its around 4000/-*Believe me, these figures are one of the least fee amount throughout Veticos in India.

Fees and Financial Aid

For keeping the academic thrill going and encouraging our hardworking meritorious students, IVRI is kind enough to grant top 3 rankers monthly stipend of 5k, 4k, 3k respectively. And as all the students in IVRI are from all India quota, they are eligible for NTS scholarship of 2k /month if a student maintains a CGPA of 7 & above. Unmatched and enticing, isn't it.

Campus Life

5

From one Glance, within college campus, the even gender ratio is evident. Talking about the diversity, Whole India resides in IVRI. Students and researchers from every corner of india thrives in IVRI. it is ever so patriotic, secularistic and unique feeling to be living with people belonging to different cultures, getting to know them, celebrating with them, and uniting as a whole at times. Simply great. All these cultural groups celebrate their festivals with genuine ethinicity with all IVRIans. Parties are just weekly happenings of such a cultural diversity. Different clubs for student's extracurricular interests and tallents are being developed to promote and enrich college environment as a whole. It won't just be satisfying words that, there is no barrier amongst students in any manner wheather social, economic, religious or what so ever. We live in a united family atmosphere. I must say, to know about IVRIs cultural enriches, one needs to visit this beautiful campus on earth. Haha

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel accommodation is never a problem at IVRI. for UG Courses lush green bungalows cum hostels are provided, for a self sufficient and independent environment for the budding professionals. A strong infrastructure with all modern amenities like Washing Machine, refrigerator, LED Tv, 24x7 high speed 100 Mbps wifi acces, 24x7 Uninterrupted power supply (Hotline), parking space, personal hostel sports complex, and other room essentials. IVRI is always proud to announce that it runs more than 10 regional mess for students from throughout the nation, all of which are student managed, giving them freedom of their deliciousness. Living in IVRI, is just as thriving at home.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors, they are ever so more supportive, relaxing and encouraging. They make any of your problem feel small, and they all stand by our side for any sort of help. IVRI Is a just like a museum to great alumni. Each year many IVRIANS are selected for foreign research, Civil services Giants like IAS, IFS, and certainly being a famous doctor one day.

Exam Structure

Exams structure too, is as per VCI regulations. In a professional year, there are two internal semesters weighing 50% of year's total evaluation .Each semester (25%) comprises of a Quiz exam (exclusive initiative of IVRI) marking 5% + end sem theoretical exams 10% + endsem practicals 10%. The rest 50% of a professional year's evaluation is decided by. External examination ( both theory & practical). For a normal college day at IVRI, it is always relaxed and enthusiastic at the same time. The day comfortably opens at 10 am and closes at 4 pm. This pattern gives ample time for students for self study, pursuing their hobbies, sports and enjoying evenings delights.

Faculty

5

Top Notch or let's say it's more than any undergraduate student can ever demand. They are scientists! Guys, there is no boundaries to the ocean of knowledge and experience they can pour into you. What a student essentially requires in this professional course is practicals, and let me be very clear here, practicals are conducted in such a refined and specialized manner, giving each student freedom of handling, learning and practicing them, that the true essence of the context is always well understood.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose bsc bioinformatics as I love programming and research sector as I took pcb in 11th ... I couldn't go for btech ... But then I researched and found about this course which need computer skills with biology background.. a perfect match for someone like me.. after the pandemic and technical growth in biology sector .. bioinformatics became one of the most growing area .. In india it's rare to find people know about this is even a sector so yeah less competition and big opportunities to work abroad .. But I am pursuing this course in this college which have very bad curriculum..the faculty isn't proper to teach us about bioinformatics and we are just study the syllabus of biotech in a mixed class ... I will rate it's a bad idea to pursue bioinformatics from Swami vivekanand subharti university...
