SIBM-H review

The eligibility criteria to apply to this institution were passing our graduation with decent marks and writing the SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test. If the cut-off set by the college is received a written ability test followed by group exercise and personal interview are conducted. Once all rounds are cleared selection letter is sent. The admission was smooth and happened well.

The course curriculum is updated with the latest developments in the market and taught by experienced faculty who give us insightful learning with their experiences and knowledge. We also have a mentorship program where each of us gets a mentor who is an industry expert and the mentor has regular sessions with us to help shape our careers. We have assignments on a regular basis and exams at end of each semister where we learn to apply practically the knowledge we get from teachings in the classroom.

The summer internship opportunities are provided by the college to all students. The internships with stipends are given based on their specializations chosen which help them to apply learnings from classroom to industry and understand how it is done.

The placements in college have been amazing and have been improving year on year All students who are eligible from the third semister are given multiple opportunities to sit for top class companies that come to college. The Alumni of SIBM-H are spread across various fields in top companies and we are in regular contact with alumni to give us guidance and tips.

The fee structure is good and we get value for the fee we pay with all the infrastructure SIBM-H has to offer. The college also offers summer internship opportunities for all its students with stipends giving an opportunity to apply our learning in the real world.

The campus life has been amazing soo far as the infrastructure the college offers with great library accessible to all with varieties of books and journals in all subjects which help us in learning. The classrooms are well equipped with all required amenities. There are various grounds for sports like football, basketball, cricket, badminton where students are persuaded to play to rejuvenate after classes. The clubs and committees are all student drive bodies where we conduct events on a regular basis and have great learning from it.

There are 2 hostels for boys and girls and the rooms are quite spacious with attached washrooms. The rooms are cleaned regularly and hygiene is maintained. The hostel rooms have a bed, study table, shelf, and cupboard for each student. The mess has a menu for each week and has varieties from different states to satisfy all students.

The topics for GD were based on current affairs and general topics where we could speak about. The written test was done to test our ability to write on a particular topic and Interview to understand students' interest in college and personality. The criteria for admission was a minimum of 50% in graduation and SNAP scores further which the other rounds were conducted.
