AVVM SPC is an autonomous college in the Thanjavur district of Tamilnadu that offers distance education also with care and confidence.

Course Curriculum Overview

Zoology offers a vast world of animals to be acquainted with. This four semesters curriculum stands on the different structures and functions of the animal kingdom. Comparative animal psychology, Endocrinology and Neuroscience, Genetics, Cell and developmental biology etc are some subjects to study.

Placement Experience

This college is known for its cooperative attitude in terms of placement. Students get an experience of how to be ready for jobs through the internship offer provided by different multinational companies like Cisco, Cognizant, Amazon etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit cum means scholarship of the institute is awarded only 25% of the students and 10% of the students get free studentship. For merit criteria, the score of JEE entrance exam or last qualifying exam is considered and for means criteria annual parental income of INR 4.5 lacs is needed.

Campus Life

Founders commemoration day is celebrated with high enthusiasm on the campus. The campus motivates the students to engage in different kinds of social work in rural areas. Infrastructures show the vision and mission of the college.

Admission

For admission in M.Sc, a bachelor degree with 50% marks is needed. For the candidates of other colleges 55% marks is necessary.

Faculty

Associate professors and the president of the college gives the feeling to the students of joining their classes with great joy. They all are excellent in their subjects.

Placement Experience:

during the 4th semester we are eligible for placements our college offers many reputited companies like acenture , infosys and AKT school and lot of students got placed and uses the oppurtunites the package is very good 60% of the students giot placed i want to go for a job

About my college campus and college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect of mine to choose this course is , I am very interested in the zoology, so , I choose this course by myself. The curriculum prepares you for the both real world applications and for the further academic pursuits. They asked you to take seminars in the class. You can take seminar in you interested way by chalk and talk method or by PPT. The examination hours are 3 hours. It will help you to manage the time properly.

Placement Experience:

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.

Yes,Laboratory works and laboratory experiments and ambiance that are influenced decision to choose this course.My curriculum helps a lot because i learnt future technologies that are prepares me for real world applications and the i learnt future applications and ? helps me to do a job.Further studies have no idea,then laboratory techniques and experiments that are improve my knowledge in my course curriculum and the smart class teaching was more understandable that was improve my course. In 3rd semester students were eligible for campus placements. Fifteen-plus companies recruit students. Most 9 cgpa students will mostly get placed in super dream jobs and maintain 8cgpa to get placed, most of the students go for Ph.D. than jobs.

Canditate must have passed 10,12 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board. The admission process was so easy to apply. One can find the application fees, dates, etc., on the official website . You can also apply through the college office. Students belonging to SC/ST category will be given a reduction of fees amount. •All are eligible for passing 12th. But the commerce group is not eligible. •We can find the application form in the control office the application form fee is 150 rs and the last date for application is after 2 weeks after the college opening. •reservation benefits are available. We can take the application form from them. And we can join when u want. But before the last date of admission. •I want to reduce application form fees.
