Brief view on VRSEC

I have appeared for eamcet exam, I got admission in this college through councelling process. As it was through eamcet, there is no application fees. You have to complete your +2 course & should have got enough rank in eamcet to get the admission.

I have choosen this course on my own interest. Well experienced faculties, lab technicians. Around 40 percent of the faculty members has a M. Tech Degree,& for each subject atleast one faculty, who have completed ph.D in that particular subject /course & having 20 + years experience in teaching field are there. Teaching experience was good. Some of the teachers explains everything in a practical way & some of them are poor in delivering in lecture though they good knowledge in the field. There will be 4 mid exams for every sem. For every 25 - 30days, One mid exam will be there, at the end of 6th month sem exams will be conducted. Internal labs are conducted just 3 or 4 days before start of sem end examinations. If one can listen classes well, it will not that much difficult to pass the exams.

No internships are provided. If you want to do internship, you have to search for the opportunity on your own. Some of the senior faculty members will help you to get that one. Stipend is not compulsory.

From 3 - 2 students can attend to campus placements only if they have enough cgpa & no backlogs. Companies that visited our college are Cognizant, Amazon, Tcs, Cap gemini, Ninja, Microsoft, Google, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Oracle, Tech mahindra, Hcl, IBM, Deloitte, Intell Highest package is 32 lakhs per annum( Amaxon) & avg package is 3 lakhs. (mostly Tcs) among CSE /IT students 25 per students will get placed in campus selection. I have decided to prepare for the government jobs. And recently started the preparation

One must have to pay 1850 rs towards building fee at start of every year apart from college fee, which was about 1,02,000. If you have got the entrance through eamcet you will get fee reimbursement. For reservation candidates total college fee will be paid by the government. For others, around 30% will be paid by government (for who have admitted through eamcet) As per my knowledge there are no other scholarships. At the end of 3rd year you may attend for job interviews. For cse /IT/ECE there will be much opportunities to get a job. For core branches there is less opportunity to get the job in campus placements (only few numbers of core company will visit the college for the selection). Internships are provided for Ece/IT students. Core branches mostly have to get internship by themselves. Mostly /maybe only 3 or 4 mem will get internship offer by the college

In February fest will be organised and in March annual day is celebrated. Technical fests will be there during entire year in different different months in different branches. Average spaced library with the availability of all core subject related books & less general books. For each class room approx 72 students will be there. Only very few classrooms have led projectors. Sports is not much encouraged in our college. Bht frequently cricket matches will be there. The only court we have is basketball court ????. Social gruops maintained by students are Igbc (works for environmental friendly constructions), ACES (association of Civil Engineering Students) for workshops, seminars etc. ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineering) mostly same as ACES.

Hostels are not good. Every year they keep changing your room. Last year they have build a new building. Rooms are spacious but cleaning facilities are poor. Meals are not at all good. They always serves you the same item frequently. & if it was sunday you don't have to go to mess unless you want to face a disaster meal. At the start of year you have to pay 9800 for accommodation & monthly mess bill needs to be paid. It will be 2500 to 3000. The only problem with hostel is they won't even respond for the complaints given by students. Wifi facility is there with high speed. There are many bachelor rooms & Pg hostels nearer to college
