Remarks
After completing your +2 with any stream you can apply for +3/graduation. But you have to pass the +2 examination. You have to apply online throw the Sams Odisha portal for different courses in different colleges. Then submit your hard copy to the nearest college and get your index number. Then wait for the merit list published on sams website. Application fees vary as per your cast like gen, obc, SC/ ST. RESERVATION: As per govt rule some reservations are for SC/st students, some for obc students the rest are for general. No need for improvement in the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had done my BA in political science. I choose the subject because I love the subject from my +2 and also I had more curiosity to know about our government systems, our Constitution and also for political knowledge. Faculty are very good both in study and behaviour. They always help in your study also help in to take a good decision. All faculty are net qualified with PhD in the subject. And their teaching method is very attractive. Exam time was semester wise and before the semester there was an internal exam of 20 marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are taken by the college in admission & readmission and semester exam fees. Fees are normally not too expensive. You can get different types of scholarships as per the Odisha govt like prerana, medhabruti, fakirmohana senapati scholarship, etc. You couldn't get any campus selection.
Campus Life
Every year here we observe different functions like annual function, maharishi Jayanti, republic day, independent day. Sports day. Many other seminars etc. You can avail book from the college library. Also, you can participate in different sports activities and also be a part of famous maharishi daredevils. Here for students, there are two common rooms for boys and girls here they can play, a study in free time also we have student union and also Facebook name maharishi college.
