Growing experience at IMS

Talking about the management institutes, IMS comes in the top 5 categories. To secure admission into this course, you need to clear JET (Joint Entrance Test) conducted by IMS and hold a higher senior secondary certificate. I applied and got selected in Panjab University, Chandigarh as well but I preferred IMS due to its rank in India and the structure of the course curriculum.

The faculty: student ratio is of 1:75. The course curriculum included the topics that are required to learn seeing the current scenario. All the faculty members possess a great amount of knowledge about the topics they taught in the class. Exams are conducted on a timely basis and the pattern is also ok to test the understanding and retain the power of the students.

Summer training programs are organized every year for the students. Top participating companies are PNB Met life, Bisleri, Royal Sundaram, The Capital Box. I am also looking forward to participating in one summer training program next time. Both paid and unpaid internships are included in this program.

You can sit for the placements during the last semester of your course. Last year, the highest package offered was Rs.6 LPA. Roles offered for BBA students were Market Research, Market Analysis and Business Development, Sales & Mkt Intern, Management Trainee. Around 85% of the students got placed. I plan to land in my dream company whenever I will sit for my placements.

The entire cost to study BBA at IMS is around Rs.329000. This fee is inclusive of the tuition charges and other overhead expenses. There are 3 scholarship sources provided by the college - Kingsters' Scholarships, Federal Grant Programs, State Scholarships. Ensure that you apply for the scholarship on time along with the admission.

Events organized at IMS attracts a large amount of student participation every year. Guest lectures were also organized by the officials. I have attended very less events since last year due to busy schedules but I am planning to join the student committee that is in charge of the organization. The library is equipped with more books than you will ever require for your course. All the classrooms and buildings are built with world class infrastructure.

Hostel rooms are big, spacious and well-furnished for sharing. A lot of facilities are available for the students like Refrigerator and RO system is provided on each floor of the Hostel, 24 Hours Electricity and Power back up supply, Provision of Hot water supply, Health Club: Aerobic classes, Dance classes, Recreation room for various Indoor Games, Wi-Fi Enabled campus and In-House Beauty Parlor. The meal quality of the mess is very tasty. Only vegetarian food is served inside the premises.
