NCE college

Well, Nalanda college of engineering comes under Aryabhatta knowledge university and it is a state government college. Earlier students had to give the BCECE exam for getting admission in all the engineering colleges of Bihar but now the admissions are taken on the basis of their JEE Mains marks. You just have to apply for registration on the BCECE website and then the counselling process starts there. The college fee is quite low as it only charges approximately 6000-7000 per semester.

All the faculties have an impressive academic background and are experts in their domain. The teaching faculty is mainly hired through tough competitive exams like BPSC. And remaining are the part of tequila -3 program. The semester exam happens at regular intervals of 6 months and internal exams were taken by the professors on their choice. It's really tough to pass the semester exam and one has to study sincerely to score a good CGPA as, unlike private colleges, you don't get any free marks here. You have to earn every mark through your hard work.

College provides a great deal of internship and workshops opportunity as it's in contact with EICT Kanpur and other prestigious bodies. For now, no information about stipend as many of the internships was not paid ones.

After 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The average package is between 3-4 LPA. Very few students are interested in placement here as most of them go for higher education and others want to apply for government jobs. So only 15-20 percent of students only got placement.

Since it is a Government college so the fee is very low compared to other colleges. The approx fee of each semester is approx 6000-7000. The students studying here can get the benefit of scholarship programs for undergraduates which were run by the state government if their parent's income is low i.e only if they are not financially stable.

The annual fest happens ones in every year apart from that students are free to celebrate every festival on the campus. The college has a decent library where you find every book related to your engineering domain. It has a cricket ground, volleyball court and ample space are there for other sports to be played. Sports competitions are being organised at regular intervals by students. A charity is also run by students in which students teach poor kids and try to provide basic support.
