I HAD APPLIED ONLY TO VIMT COLLEGE AND I GOT A CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM HERE. I WANTED TO PURSUE MY BACHELOR DEGREE FROM ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION BRANCH AND THEY PROVIDE IT HERE EASILY. THERE WAS NO KIND OF RESERVATION AT THE TIME OF SEAT ALLOTMENT. AT THAT TIME CRITERIA WAS AIEEE RANK CARD AND MINIMUM 60 PERCENTAGE MARKS IN PCM. THERE WAS ONLINE COUNSELING PROCESS SO NO PROBLEM.

THERE WAS A SEA OF OPPORTUNITY IN THIS COURSE BY SEEING THIS I HAD APPLIED FOR THIS COURSE.THERE WERE AROUND 10 FACULTY IN MY BRANCH SO IT WAS GOOD OVERALL.MORE ACCURATELY IT WAS 1:6. TEACHING FACULTY WAS WELL EDUCATED AND WERE MOSTLY FROM IITS AND NITS. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION WAS ATLEAST MASTERS IN RESPECTIVE SUBJECT. THERE WAS THREE MID EXAM IN ONE SEMESTER EACH AFTER TWO MONTHS. EXAM LEVEL WAS MODERATE.

I GOT AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ADVANCE LEVEL TELECOMMUNICATION TRAINING CENTRE GHAZIABAD. AND IT GIVES ME A FAIR CHANCE TO DO GOOD IN MY LIFE.AFTER THAT I GOT A CHANCE TO MEET WITH OUR MHRD MINISTER OF THAT TIME. THEY FACILITATED US IN A HIGH PROFILE CEREMONY.

Placement Experience

AFTER 3RD YEAR YOU WILL GET A CHANCE TO APPLY FOR PLACEMENT. THERE WERE A FEW COMPANIES WHO REGULARLY HIRES. THEY WERE FROM THE CONSTITUTION. MANUFACTURING AND IT SECTORS. I GOT OFFERS FROM TCS AND WIPRO LATER I QUIT IT. JOB WAS GOOD BUT I EANTED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN MY LIFE.

Fees and Financial Aid

THEY HIKED THEIR FEES 5000 PER YEAR. BUT THEY PROVIDED UP GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR ELIGIBLE STUDENTS . MOST OF THE STUDENTS GOT THEIR SCHOLARSHIP. ALSO THE STUDENTS WHO SCORED MORE THAN 75%MARKS IN FINAL EXAM OF SEMESTER THEY PROVIDE 10000 EACH AND EVERY STUDENTS.

Campus Life

THERE WAS ANNUAL FUNCTION EACH AND EVERY YEAR IN MONTH OF MARCH. APART FROM THAT THEY USE TO ORGANIZE A FRESHER PARTY EVERY YEAR. MOST STRIKING THING OF THIS COLLEGE WAS THEIR LIBRARY. THERE WERE MORE THAN 10000 BOOKS IN LIBRARY. BASIC AMENITIES AVAILABLE IN PLENTY OF AMOUNT. EVERY YEAR VARIOUS SPORTS ACTIVITIES USED TO ORGANIZE APART FROM SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.

Hostel Facilities

THEY HAD ALSO A VERY GOOD HOSTEL EVERYTHING WAS AVAILABLE THAT SEEMS NECESSARY . THEY ACCOMODATED TWO BOYS IN ONE ROOM. ROOM WAS ALSO SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. QUALITY OF MEALS WAS VERY GOOD. I HAD NEVER COMPLAINT ABOUT SPECIALLY FOR MEAL. REGISTRATION PROCESS IS VERY SIMPLE .YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT.I HAD NEVER JOIN PG BUT SOMEONE WANTS SO NO LACK OF PG AROUND COLLEGE.

Interview Experience

NO, ACTUALLY I GOT ADMISSION THROUGH SCORE CARD OF ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION SO I HAD NOT TO GO THROUGH THIS . HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE SCORED MORE THAN 60 PERCENT MARKS IN PCM. I SIMPLY PREPARED FOR AIEEE THAT'S ALL.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I really like my college . It is very good college around the meerut

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%
