Remarks
GCET is one of the best colleges in Gujarat for engineering. For admission you will have to score 80% in 12th with Gujcet and jee mains The further admission process is done by ACPC. Then you can get admission on the rank of yours given by ACPC Generally, the cutoff for Computer Engineering, IT, and chemical engineering are high. It is also of the oldest and the best college for chemical engineering in Gujarat.
Course Curriculum Overview
Till 2020 the college was under GTU so the syllabus was totally given By GTU. But from 2020 the college came under CVM University ( Charutar vidyamandal University, vallabh Vidyanagar) . Now the new course curriculum is given by CVM University. New subjects are involved in it and the subjects and syllabus are very much good then GTU . This is the positive point for college and also now it is under a deemed university
Internships Opportunities
College is providing good opportunities for internships during colleges days at different places in Gujarat. They are also providing new skills with this all. Some projects which are industry facing we are taking that projects & solving it giving to them.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from the 3rd year. Campus placement is perfect. Every department placed. Highest package is 18 LPA. Students have to keep above 6.0 cpi for qualified in placement cell. Companies like Amazon , Infosys , reliance , nayara energy , TCS, etc visit the college
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for 1st year in G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology is 119000. Which is a bit high but as we know it is a private college so according to college and its good. The scholarship is given by the Gujarat government who has secured more than 80 percentile in the 12th board. Also, another scholarship is given to SC/ST/OBC students by digital Gujarat
Campus Life
The are many events held in Gcet. Gcet every year conducting techfest called imaze. Imaze is one the biggest fest of college. Many new events are helding in this. There are many groups & clubs. All the students of Gcet College controlling clubs & groups.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good. Low rate. It gives proper accommodation. The water facility is there. Attach & non-attached washroom is available. 3 or 2 students in one room. Proper facility & nearby college only.
Interview Experience
There was no group discussion or interview for admission. The admission process is done by ACPC and for management or NRI quota process is done by CVM University. Which gives admission according to Gujcet and JEE main marks.
