The life in St. Joseph's from the point of the Student

The college had very good reputation for professional teaching and good placement records. I learnt more about my college from alumnis and from various websites. I checked in person about the college.

The teaching, infrastructure and facilities are of great standard. The faculty are updating themselves with new technologies and skills. The exams conducted are mostly to check your knowledge and apply what you learnt in real life.

From the end of 6 th semester students can apply for placements. This is there were more than 35 companies visited as of now and still many more to come. The basic salary package is 3.5 LPA. The average package offered is 7 LPA. As of now more than 1600 placement offers had been given to final year students. The percentage of students getting placed is around 69% and many others choose to do masters.

There are many scholarships which you can avail based on merit score, Government scholarships. Even if you have any difficulties they allow to pay in parts. I recently got an job offer from an reputed company with CTC 4lakh, so placement is quite a good one

There are many fest organised by different departments. We have both technical and social fest to bring out talents of students from they are good at. The central library has greater collection of books and there is a seperate ebook area. Class rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the classrooms are always kept clean and neat. As students there are more than 15 clubs from maths to dance to bring people of similar interests to learn together

I have been to hostel for once though, but the atmosphere is good, hostelers will be having feast daily. You can choose Vegetarian or Non-vegetarian, there even an diet row for diet concious persons. The hostel are 4 shared rooms with more space and more comfort.

I had an Interview before my admission, to check my knowledge I gained from my school days and to check my character. They also had an Discussion with the heads of the college to understand me
