LIFE IN Apollo engineering college

Apollo engineering college is one of the colleges under ANNA UNIVERSITY. There are two types of admission are there first is counseling and other one is management quota. I joined this college through counseling. For counseling we have to apply online then they call for counseling according to Ranking. However, now complete counseling become online. Admission criteria are completing 12th or equivalent with register board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Total 60 seats are available on counseling for the computer science and engineering department for this college. Another way to get admission is in the management quota. One can approach college directly and can complete admission in this some donation fees are there. The minimum age is 17.

I am always excited about computers and technology since my childhood. So I chose this course B.E CSE. As usual, it is 8 semesters(4 years). The faculties in this college are really good they are always there to clear your doubts. Especially 1st-year staffs are really awesome I did my class 12th with PCMB(Science stream) I don't know anything about programming. I never heard this word till my class 12th. In the first year, the staff gives me confidence they teach us very from very basics and very clear. The teaching methods are really great for python programming my first-semester subject facilities to teach us really practical approach he asks us to do, apply and learn whatever we learn in classrooms in lab session which help us to understand programming concepts better. Overall faculty-student interaction is very good all facilities are very good. For every semester there is two CA(cyclic assessment ) in each subject you have only 5 units only it is really easy to study as compared to schools.

Talking about fees structure for me 148000/- per year including hostel fees (60000). Tuition fees:- 50000 Book fees:- 19000 Career development program:- 16000 Hostel fees:- 60000 Scholarship:- I get a 9000 rupees scholarship every year. I would like to add one more thing If you score about 90% in 12th standard college management gives 100% scholarships totally free 0 rs you have to spend including hostel, bus everything is free. In our batch, 30 students get this scholarship total free. Talking about campus for our batch no campus is coming but I am proudly saying that in our batch most of the students get placed through off-campus drive again staff is helpful. I got placed in Infosys, my friends are in TCS, HCL, Wipro, Capgemini. All of us place through off-campus. Definitely, you will get knowledge.

For this category, Apollo engineering college is best. This college has the best auditorium in Chennai colleges. Every year NAKSHATRA Cultural and Hostel day is celebrated in the month of January or February always in the even semester and Kollywood celebrities are invited as chief guests. Sports day is also conducted every year which is various track and field, football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, handball, chess, etc My favorite is Cricket CSE is 2019,2020 overall champions and particularly in cricket CSE is always in Finals and 2021 champions Really sports event cultural hostel days really great things in this college life. Semester books they provide every semester if you want additional books you can borrow from the college library.

In hostel two types of rooms are there one is common in which four members can accommodate this costs 60000, another one is a special room which includes an attached bathroom and two rooms this costs 90000 per year. Food is unlimited, No restrictions for water, electricity usage but illegal and bad activities are strictly prohibited and may lead to dismissal from college. College gives you freedom until you are within your limit. For study sports, no restriction is there. For hostel registration, they ask during admission. Hostel Life is one of the best things. Every Saturday there is an outing they provide a bus. And for girls every Thursday. For boys, no restriction is there for an outing but you have to be Inside the hostel before evening 6 o'clock.
