Apollo Engineering college is affiliated with Anna University and is approved by AICTE. Our college offers B.E, M.E and MBA courses. B.E, admission through TNEA Counselling based on the 12th score. M.E and MBA, students must write the TANCET exam based on the TANCET Score counselling will be conducted.

I like the EEE department and I want to become an electrical engineer that's why am choosing this course. Our faculty members are too good. They are finishing the syllabus on time and conducting the weekly tests. Based on the weekly test coaching will be given by the students extra one hour.

Placement Experience

Final year students are eligible for campus placements. carrier development programs are conducted by the placement team from the first year to the final year. Many bpo and core companies come to the campus placements. Above 70% of GPA students are eligible for campus interviews. Salary package will be changed from company to company, Minimum 15000 is fixed.

Fees and Financial Aid

AEC fee structure is classified into two types one is counselling and another one is management. Students who are selected by the counselling will pay 96000, and students who are selected by the management will pay 120000. Our college offers scholarships for first graduates in 20000 every year. I don't get a job on my campus interview but my friend was selected by Wipro.

Campus Life

Apollo engineering college has a very big auditorium. Every year cultural program is celebrated in February or March month. Kollywood actresses are invited by the chief guest of every culture. sports day is conducted every year. On sports day football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, handball, chess, etc games are conducted. EEE is the overall champion in 2016. Not only cultural and sports days they also conduct new year, Christmas, Pongal, women's day, Onam, and Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Our college library has all semester books by local authors and foreign authors. You want any books taken from the library and use them.

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

Placement Experience:

There is many opportunities given by the collage placement they give training. For placenta and they have some fees structure for placement and that I have paid 2 times 12500 for placement training there are no of opportunities and many companies give good offers for students.

Aspects Of College

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very good. The studentrs are given oppertuties and are given chances for comapnies such as amazon, Wipro, JP morgan and such that have a great CTC and a large number of other companies including startups are also available. If the student is interested in entrepernership then the startup cell funds for the ideas of students. There is a seperate higher studies cell for students who want to pursue their higher studies and are given guidance to what steps are to be taken by educational fairs and such

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is good. Average salary package is 5LPA. Companies like Amazon, JPmorgan, Virtusa, Accenture, HCL, Valeo, TCS and other major companies hire many students here. I heard more than 90% students were placed.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements in our college usually start from 6th semester. Students are regulary trained for placements from the 1st year both in aptitude and coding skills. Certain branch students receive training specifiically in their own field Most of the students get placed in IT-service based companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys and Accenture. In recent years students have got placed for Marquee offers in big prodcut based comapnies like Autodesk, Amazon, MIcrosoft and Goldman Sachs.

Not a topper but a good learner

Placement Experience:

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.

LIFE IN Apollo engineering college

Apollo engineering college is one of the colleges under ANNA UNIVERSITY. There are two types of admission are there first is counseling and other one is management quota. I joined this college through counseling. For counseling we have to apply online then they call for counseling according to Ranking. However, now complete counseling become online. Admission criteria are completing 12th or equivalent with register board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Total 60 seats are available on counseling for the computer science and engineering department for this college. Another way to get admission is in the management quota. APOLLO ENGINEERING COLLEGE

In our college, we had the well-equipped infrastructure, there is a workshop separately for the Mechanical department which is very helpful and can use as a workspace for projects too. There is library basketball court even football ground and also each department has there own labs and faculties. The faculty members are well trained and qualified, they teach us everything about the subject and they guided us throughout our curriculum.
