My view of the college

Its was an online process where we need to select few colleges along with courses, based on the EAMCET rank on gets allotted to a college. After you get allotted to a college you need to report to that college. This process is repeated 3 times as we can say that we can opt to other colleges of there are any vacancies. I have applied to SRKR college of engineering and Technology under CSE, IT, ECE and same for Vishnu Institute of Technology under CSE, IT, ECE.

I have chosen IT, as this is somewhat similar to Computer Sciences and I'm interested in Computer Sciences, coding, programming and other stuff. The core faculty are so friendly you can approach them anytime and anywhere, they are helpful even outside the college hours. There are around 10 faculty members with single section of IT, and the students of sixty for each class. We likely have two semesters for a year and semester-end exams likely to happend for every six months and each semester have internal exams called mid term exams which are included to the semester exam marks, semester exams are for 70 marks and a total of 30 marks are added to them from mid marks, passing the semester exams is quite simple as you need to have a minimum marks in the internal exams.

When we get placed in the campus placements or from any platforms the students are allowed to do the program by going to that company or by Working from home with tasks that are provided to them to be completed on time and the students are allowed to get their attendance and write their exams with considerable marks.

Placements which start from 3-2 semester ie the 6th semester, to be eligible for the placements you need to clear all the subjects until that semester, mostly we have more than 50 companies that visit our college. The average package for a student is around 4L, and a minimum of 3 placements for each student. The highest package for the year 2021 is around 40L package from Palo Alto. We have an eligibility of 400 students and a 99% placements.

The fee here in our college is basically from the government as we have a full fee reimbursement the government pays the fee for the selected people based on caste, the parent's occupation, and all are considered. The college fee starts from 85,000 INR per year. I have got financial assistance from the government to study and complete my graduation. I have been placed in three companies each around 3.5L to 4L package.

We conduct Valiant as the main tech fest in our college and the college annual fest is held every year. Valiant is held in December and the annual fest is held in February. We have a good library with books allocated to each student based on an e-library management system. The classrooms are filled with a good amount of benches and are digitally equipped with projectors and screens. We have a large playground where we play cricket, football and indoor for badminton and a basketball court. Coming to clubs we have music, English, ATL, alternative energy resource management club, sports club, cooking club, volunteer club, etc. which are run by students with assistance from selected faculty.
