Remarks

The course was offered to those who had scored above 50% in 12th. Age was not an issue though. The admission process was easy to follow and there were many staff members to help us out during the process.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I was interested to learn biotechnology and getting into the research field, hence choosing this course. Each department had plenty of lectures and they all were highly qualified. It was a semester system, so exams were not so difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Some students became lectures after completing B. ed and training. An internship can be improved for this course but it requires the students to do some extra research-related courses or post-graduation without which companies would not give you a job.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placements from the final year although the companies expect us to do higher studies. Most of the students got into researching or lab assistant roles grabbing somewhere around 2.5-3.5lpa. Students opted for higher studies/post-graduation courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to other colleges, the fees in this one was reasonable and one can afford it for such a course. Scholarships were given to those who scored well. Higher studies are required in this field for getting a job in a good research-based company.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest was given different names each year and we conducted in Feb or March. The college has a huge collection of books in it's well spaced/large library. The classrooms were big and had sufficient benches. The college has seperate training faculty for sports, singing, drama, and dancing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
