Entrance Preview
MP PET, my score was 82 /200 and rank was around 11000, This collage was one of the 16 collages having civil engg as branch. So i had 2 options JEC jabalpur and this one. I was happy to get this one since no ragging was there in this college 4 years were good.
Internships Opportunities
No, internship was to be searched by us .stipend was 0 usually. Since under grad students are ample in market since internship started after 3rd year.
Placement Experience
Placement was good at that time TCS came and took around 65-70 people. But for core companies it is like luck by chance. Since pool campus comes but its pretty unsure. If people are really getting a chance or mncs are called just to make numbers interns of companies visited.
College Events
Once in 2 years HALCYON is conducted and gives a chance to participate in various events like there are in all the tech fests. Apart from this university sports event is hosted by this college since grounds and infrastructure is available. Apart from this cultural society of each branch was there headed by deputy HOD.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is maximum that is charge for an A grade institute , but its just fine. I was charged 55000 per year. This was in line with the university guidelines. In my junior batches, fees was reduced due to lower grading and hence they were charged to the tune of 45000 approx.
Admission
Admission was simple since it was through the councillors of VYAPAM. Which is a govt agency and ensures that admission process is unified and very simple. RGPV already gives a list of fees to be paid . College dose not charge anything else.
Faculty
Faculty was decent when i joined college back in 2008. They were well qualified an experienced in civil dept. But some teachers were just not good teachers. Like the HOD of IT dept and one mechanics professor of mech dept. Unfortunately due to some overlapping subjects.
