Remarks
I applied for Bits Patna but I don't have such a huge amount of fees at that time so that's why I left that, i also did wbjee but i didn't get top colleges of West Bengal. So i admit here in the state govt college of Bihar. No, i didn't avail for any quota, it all about the marks i got in jee mains. Admission criteria are through jeed mains percentile, minimum percentile i think 70 for cse branch. The admission process: you have to appear in jee mains then wait for the bcece board counseling process and then you got some rank in Bihar after that you've to do counseling and then you got any college of your desire branch. I got admission on 5 December 2020 (late due to covid).
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose cse because I have interest in computers and programming since childhood. Faculties are supportive enough, all the faculties are well educated. Some of our professors were bpsc qualified. Mainly teaching is in the Hindi language so you understand everything well. Yes, the course curriculum is followed by the curriculum given by Aryabhatta Knowledge University. Girls are to boys ratio is 1:5 in cse in my year but my senior has a 1:1 ratio, fortunately. Exams are average but sometimes it's getting hard. You can pass easily when you'll study well.
Internships Opportunities
For Internship you've to apply at your own at internshala or aicte Internship portal. No company visit for internship in our college right now. Or i can say I Have no idea because i'm in first year maybe from next upcoming years companies will come. And You can do your own projects via internet or anything like if your professors says to do. Either you can buy some good courses from crio.do or coding ninjas form there you can do some good projects.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Our seniors get placed this year 2021, 12 students get placed in HCL company. 20 percent of students getting placed. I think the Highest package is 3.5 lakhs per annum and the average is also 3.5 lpa. HCL, TCS, Wipro are the Major recruiter's. Students have to find internships on their own. Placements are good for the CSE branch. My plan after getting a degree is to apply for off-campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a state government college so fees isn't high. The fee is 8000 per year only. And the overall fees is 38,200 in 4year of btech. Hostel fees excluded, hostel + mess charges are 24000 per semester. There's no hidden charges. Fee hike is rare but if it happen ,it will for all the 38 colleges. You can also pay whole fees through bihar education loan of 4lakhs through bscc scheme. You can also apply our state scholarship scheme pms (post matriculation scholarship). Average pakage is 3.5lakhs ,this year hcl company came and gave 3.5 lpa average pakage.
Campus Life
Our annual fest named is annual day and it happens in November month. All books are here which is required for engineering. The library is quite good there is ac and wifi both working good. Since this new building starts in 2021 so everything is new, labs computers, machines, etc. We have a coding club, photography club, art club, etc. Ya sports like volleyball, table tennis, Cricket, and indoor games all are there. Infrastructure is good enough since it's the new academic building starts in 2021. Academic, hostels and campus infrastructure is overall good.
Hostel Facilities
All rooms are equal in size and accomodation. Each room is shared by 3 students. There is 2 fans in a room and 3 beds, 3 table, and 3 chairs. Hostel rooms are overall good but you've to compromise with mess food. Mess food is only for living it isn't healthy enough. we do protest once in 2 or 3 weeks for providing good healthy food. The menu is good as for the price. But you can eat better if you live outside but the problem is there's no living pg's , room, etc for the living. The registration process is easy you just allot for your hostel room. 800 per month you have to give for the hostel room and 3200 per month for the mess charges. Kharari named village is in our locality which is 1 km far away from college.
Other Applied Colleges

To get admission to the B.Tech Civil Engineering course of Shershah College of Engineering, it is favourable to have a JEE Main score of at least 70 percentile or above in the open category. You can check the previous year cut-offs from Shershah College of Engineering Cut-off.
