Remarks

I have opted for BVRIT HYDERABAD College of Engineering for Women based on reviews given by neighbors. I joined through EAMCET counseling. My rank was 6609. We checked with our seniors about the college and everyone gave positive feedback.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE because I have always been interested in math. All the faculty are very supportive. They have always tried to help each and every student of the class to pursue their dream. The teaching was great. They taught us so much more than what is there in the books.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Right from 3rd year, we had internship opportunities coming. Our placement team also guided us in choosing the right internships. Also, there were different mentorship opportunities from Flipkart, Amazon, EPAM, etc.

Placement Experience

The placement team of our college is very supportive and has always been very active. Apart from the on-campus placement opportunities, they also sent us many off-campus placement opportunities information and encouraged us to register for those. The highest package was from Amazon with 30LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I joined, the fee for the computer science branch was around 65000. There was not much hike in the fee over 4 years. I did not get any scholarship but based on rank, background, income, and some other criteria, few people got scholarship opportunities.

Campus Life

There were many clubs like Toastmasters, Meraki, cultural, coding clubs, etc. Apart from academics, our college has also encouraged sports. there were many inter-college competitions held. Also, our faculty constantly encouraged us to participate in various coding competitions, hackathons, and training programs that were held outside of our college.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

My engineering seat alloted through bcb reservation ... the improvement I want see in admission process is that the reservations has to be increased for other caste people also because so many students with high talent cannot able to get the seat because of low reservations of their respective castes ....Read More
