Remarks

The admission process was a bit lengthy but it was very systematic. Counseling was brief and a rulebook was provided to the applicants. A basic medical test was also conducted and then the hostels were allotted.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Term exams were always held on time even during the pandemic when the session was conducted online. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and the professors always encourage critical thinking. Question papers are analytical and understanding-based; not memory-based.

Internships Opportunities

4

Alot of internship opportunities are provided since the very first year. Assistant Professors help the students in scoring a good internship and students have to file their internship report and internship diary each year along with a presentation and viva on the activities during the internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Tier 2 firms visited the law school offering placements. Many students opt for competitive exams as well, for which coaching is also provided within the campus after regular college. The coaching for judiciary is free of cost and the library also has relevant books for preparation of judiciary

Fees and Financial Aid

Banasthali provides scholarships to students who are academically excellent and also to those who are financially weak. There is a semester break in the final year in which students are sent on internships and have to later submit a report based on their learning. Most of the students get PPO during their internship

Campus Life

3.5

There are various groups and clubs like the radio club, the moot court society etc. Each department has its different clubs run by students. There is a fivefold education in which students can take up courses like drama, dance, horse riding, various sports like archery, boxing and can also learn foreign languages like German, French etc. There is an annual fest in November and each department has their own fest, which students from other departments can also attend. Similarly, there us a central library which has books for each and every course and much more and each department has their own library having all the books relevant to the department's courses

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are pretty good. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner is provided in each hostel. There are many canteens near the hostels. Banasthali does not allow students to live out of campus. The hostel is pretty affordable and there 3 wardens in each hostel

Placement Experience:

From 9/10 semesters the students become eligible for placements. Students are given some attendance relief for like 4/6 months to do their internships in best places around India. Companies like IBM, INFOSYS, AMAZON , Tech mahindra are some which offers placement with average 4 lpa, highest being 25lpa. 60% is the placement rate in ba llb. My plan after getting the degree is trying for judiciary and preparing for llm and phd.

Reviewed on Jun 5, 2024(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was my main focus being in the judiciary exam, and this college's curriculum can be quite very helpful for that. The curriculum prepares us for real World applications such as litigation through moot court competitions which are held regularly on different levels and they also offer information regarding moot courts being held in different Colleges where we can apply and participate. A few improvements can be done in the course curriculum by making it more student friendly and the teaching methodology should be introduced to students in a way which makes them comfortable and open to more knowledge in a friendly manner. The exams are held timely and their frequency stands to be frequent and the difficulty level for the same stands to be moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specifically the aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision was the legal knowledge and the awareness of one's legal rights. The curriculum prepares us for the journey of being a lawyer or an legal practitioner in a way that one can do very well in any field they choose. If i were to suggest the areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods that would be to hire better qualified teachers and compulsive 75% attendance for the students. The exams are held every six months along with mid semester exams in between and the difficulty level is not much if you are serious about your studies.
