Remarks
Initially, I was unsure of which college to go for my MBA, but after doing some research, I discovered that BIHER is the ideal option due of its extensive alumni network, near-perfect placement rate, and faculty with real-world expertise in business. For the purpose of choosing students for various programmes, the college administers a test known as the BEEE.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to get an MBA because I wanted to join my family's business when I graduated and having completed an MBA had prepared me for the transition. In terms of curriculum, the college's courses were excellent because they drew on the practical experiences of industry leaders and the student-to-faculty ratio was close to 15:1. When you study under professors who are IIM and IIT graduates, you can rest assured that you will do well on the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Instead of doing an internship, I got involved in my family's business to gain practical experience, which was just as beneficial as an internship would have been to me. Some of my friends got internships in really big companies like Amazon , wipro , tata.etc
Placement Experience
The college helps with job placement by bringing companies to campus, and nearly all of the students in my batch were hired by reputable firms like KPMG, OYO, and ICICI Bank, with many of the positions being managerial in nature. The most expensive package came to over 13lpa .
Fee Structure And Facilities
When compared to other MBA universities, BIHER offers a course that is very affordable (about 200000 costs for two years, excluding hostel fees) and helps you secure loans at a low interest rate. It's amazing in terms of placement, even though I wanted to join my family's business so I opted out of the programme. However, some of my peers are now working for companies like EY, KPMG, DELOITTE and many more.
Campus Life
Campus life was a great experience for me because I met individuals from all over the country and learned a lot from them in numerous clubs and organisations including finance, HR, and the Marketing club. Infrastructure-wise, I'd give it a 5/10 because the college is ancient and the classrooms and libraries aren't equipped with the latest technology.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was 7/10 for me. The best part was that it was located on campus and was easily accessible for students. In reality, some rooms included air conditioning in addition to the standard facilities like a mess, laundry, and cleaning. Also available were an ATM and a health clinic. You must contact the administration department to use the hostel's services, and rooms will be assigned to you as soon as they become available.
Admission
A simple entrance exam administered by the university was all that was required of me to get admission to this programme. It has a few aptitude or thinking questions as well as some grammar ones. For this exam, my only preparation was reading an aptitude book by arun sharma, which I obtained from a friend.
