Remarks

Good aspects- well maintained campus, supportive teachers, friendly environment, special attention is given to every other studentsInfrastructure could be betterFor me the reason for selecting this college was proximity of college which is quite near to my residence

Course Curriculum Overview

I was basically interested in IT field and hence the course Information science and technology. Faculty student ratio is around 10:60. Teachers are well qualified ,many of them hold masters and PhD degree's. They conduct three internal assessment during one sem ( 6month duration) since we attend 3 test's it was quite easy to pass the exam

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 94840 per year

Placement Experience

For placements and job opportunities we do have a separate placement cell and the placement coordinator. Students from 7th semester are eligible for placements, placements coordinator communicates between the students and company visiting our campus. Percentage of students getting placed is around 68-70%. I'm planning to do Master's after completion of my degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for students under CET quota is 94840/- for management quota it is around 2 lakh.We do get scholarship based on your category, we get around 20 thousand of scholarship per year under E-pass scholarship

Campus Life

Life at campus is quite enjoyable. We could find many birds and dogs in and around college. The annual fest named AKRITHI is conducted around the month of March / April. Library is well maintained and along with prescribed books, reference books are also available. Every year annual sports meet is conducted and students from all the department get opportunity to participate.

No, I didn't face any group discussion,interview , written test or any such process.Since I got admitted through CET quota the exam I attended was CET exam only conducted by Karnataka education department.Once we get the CET allotment order , we need to pay the fees and the admission process completes

A STUDENT JOURNEY IN BNMIT

Placement Experience:

The students from 3rd sem they are eligible for placements. The companies like Toyota, EY, Micromax, Accenture, KPMG, Delliote etc. will come to hire the freshers. Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

East or West , the college is average

I didn't apply to any other colleges as I had already made up my mind to admit in this college,that was really near to my place. Any students completed with 2nd pu and a kcet or cometk exam must, can admit to east West clg. But the fee might differ according to the obtained marks.The most students prefer is to join from kcet.The present cutoff in this college is 30,000.
