A sneak peak into the world of Deviprasad Goenka Management College (DGMC)

I wanted to take a college far from my home,also was recommended to me by my friend asa good college with well equipped infrastructure, the vad aspect is we couldn't practically go to college much due to covid

The course and its curriculum is very good according to me as it focuses on real life problems in the world, as a mass media student i see not much of a crowd in my batch but we all are interactive in lectures and faculty is good in what they are teaching.

6th semester is the semester where students complete their course and our eligible for jobs in various domains of mass communication, till now I haven't been to an interview in our college so I don't have much knowledge about the companies that came but we don't gave that big of a campus placement cell, i will opt for masters in journalism after my final year if possible or i will support my dad by doing a job i get in whatever way i can.

Fees is just 17000 to 18000 depending on your year of study whether it is first year or final year and I didn't take any scholarships, and till now our campus haven't placed a job fair this year but i hope by our 6 sem they do.

Mia media ice age is the annual fest for our college which is conducted every year in the February to march month during the year end, the have a decent library with good books as well, our classrooms are spacious enough and well equipped with modern white boards and even projector for regular presentation lectures, sports is also given importance in our campus but we don't gave much big of a ground in our college, extracurricular activities are held almost every week and also there are several student bodies in our campus one of which is the ngo known as Rotaract club of dgmc college where we students come together and do social work.

Interview was taken one on one by the dean of the college itself and they asked why did i wanted to join there college and not others and why this course particularly, i didn't prepare for interview, just went ahead and was being myself.
