Amrita University is the Number 1 private University in India. The best thing about Amrita college is the Amazing classes, Lab Facilities, good atmosphere to study. Also there are multiple electives apart from the core subjects, Gaming facilities etc. Easy admission process, Good Placement opportunities. I found about the college from a blog about Top 10 private Universities

I chose the course BCA because it was an amazing course, very useful for students who want to work on IT field. And the faculty who teach the subject are well educated, skilled and doing an amazing job nurturing the students. Most of them have phd in the core subject, also a professional degree and enough teaching experience. And for one subject there were 4 teachers that is 4:70 in a class

College is providing Internship in many companies for a duration of 2 month. SAP Labs is one of the company and they provide a stipend of 10000 per month. We can work as a Developer in the company as well.

College is providing excellent placement opportunity. Students become eligible for placement from 5th Semester, should also have a CGPA 7 or above. Multiple companies are visiting the college for Placement including TCS, Delloite, WIPRO, IBM, Firmware, SAP Labs, Infosys. The Higest salary package is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average is 5 Lakhs per annum. The college offers 100% Placement. I have placed in WIPRO for a salary package of 6lpa .

Comparing to other colleges, the fees is very low. For a year it is 50,000RS. No fees hike during the pandemic as well. They are strongly supporting the students. Also providing more facility because of the pandemic. College is providing scholarship for financially unstable students. Also allowing others to pay the fee as instalment. Many multinational companies are hiring students from Amrita with salary of 20 lpa .

Life at campus is amazing. Amazing environment friendly campus. As students from different culture study in the college, lots of cultural fest are conducting like Onam, Kannadarajyolsavam, Vishu, etc. Annual fest, Fresher's program is conducting every year. Lots of workshops, tech fests are conducting every month to encourage students. There is also a library where students can find lost of variety of books, news paper in all languages, Text books for academic purpose. Sports events are conducting frequently. College has a Cricket, football and hockey team and inter college matches are conducting. Extracurricular activities like Singing, Dancing, writing are also encouraging in college. Literature club is handling most of the events in college and sports club ie handling the sports events.

Hostel facility is great. 2 students in a room. Really comfortable. College will provide the bed and bucket facilities. Hostel registration is simple and easy. They will show us the rooms and we can pick the comfortable room we need. As the annual fee is only 40,000, payment can be done as installment. Regarding the meals, hostel provide 4 meals per day. Including the Evening snacks. We get unlimited food as well. The food quality is very good. Variety of food are providing. We can go out everyday and no restrictions to students.

There was no GD, but there was written test similar to entrance exam. The student needs to score above the cutoff mark. Questions will be from the PUC Syllabus basically computer science and other science subjects. And also interview process, in which the Teachers will ask about our personal details and also tell about the college, facilities, and all the details. They also expect a good work from our side for the studies.
