Dinesh Bhuthada's Review On Woxsen School Of Business - [WSB], Hyderabad

I am selected in Woxsen on basis of my MAT score. I scored 676 marks (89 percentile) in MAT. The reason I have selected Woxsen is because of world class faculty from all over the world and beautiful campus environment.

The course is rigorous with many many practical case studies. It is planned in such a way that entire course(all the subjects) are Interlinked. The subjects we have will be really helpful to us in our upcoming Internship project. I am confident that it will help us to be a better managers in a Organisation.

No our college does not provide Internship. But it has tie up with Naynang University(Singapore) to provide better learning to us. Our Woxsen also runs workshops to enhance entrepreneur skills.

Placements are pretty good and companies like Mahindra, 24*7, factset, ITC, TVS, Grab on came to our college recently for our summer Internship and final placements of our seniors. The average package runs around 5.8 - 6 lakhs. Our college also provide funding to the students for their startup if their Idea gets selected.

The fee structure of the college is high when compared to other B-schools. But the facilities they are providing are also not comparable with other colleges. The general fee structure is 16.20 lakhs which Includes tuition fee, hostel fee and a Industrial visit to Nanyang University(Singapore).

Based on my performance in Interview I got a scholarship on my tuition fee. The college also has tie up with banks like HDFC, Andhra bank for education loan purposes.

Gender ratio of my batch is 1:5 (female:male). Our batch has got students from all the parts of India. Campus life is one of the best experience that I will be having in my life. The sports club is the one of most active club in our campus with events conducted on almost every weekend.

Once I got my MAT score, I have applied for PGDM in Woxsen. Later I visited the campus which left a positive Impression on me. Once I applied, there was a personal Interview held. I have done pretty good in Interview and got selected. I also got fee waiver on my tuition fee.

The main reason I preferred Woxsen over other business schools is because of the quality of faculty they have got. Most of the faculty are visiting faculty and comes from different Organisations. They are available till the entire course(subject) is completed and are always available to help us.
