Remarks

We wrote NATA and applied for Guru Gobind Singh University, Delhi. Our 12th marks were combined with NATA and we were given ranks. According to the ranks we had counselling and were given seats according to ranks as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum has great, interactive design studios. The faculty are from colleges like SPA, CEPT, and Jamia - very understanding and always open for discussions and many also have a lot of experience in the field. We have design and construction studios every semester and elective studios keep changing - choices are given between classes of landscape and interior, intelligent buildings and integrated environment design etc. The exams are always done during mid term. The student-faculty ratio is about 1:12

Fees and Financial Aid

Many Delhi govt. scholarships are given to students on a need-based basis. I also interned with one of my practising faculty during summer break in 2021. All in all, college is very helpful and guides us in our search for internships (We mandatorily require to intern in sem 9). They conduct various seminars, regularly helping us through the process as well.

Campus Life

The college has a lot of clubs - Literary, Acting, Music, Dance etc. I have personally been part of the literary club: Have competed in various inter-college events, been the host of several college events thanks to the literary club. College also has an annual fest called Vikiran - fun dances, DJ, literary competitions, camp fire etc are conducted during this fest. Architecture students also get to celebrate NASA day - Students of all years team up and compete in various creative competitions. (NASA: National Association of Students of Architecture) The library is well stocked and you get the book you need most of the time.

Name of companies: google, Microsoft, TATA, RELIANCE, ZOMATO, ACCENTURE, GAIL, HPCL, DE SHAW, FLIPKART, AMAZON, MEESHO, L&T etc. More than 90% students get placed from all branches Highest packages offered around 1Cr. We can get placed in government sector too after clearing exams We are also eligible to get seat in other IITs for higher studies with a CPI of 7.5

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my father is an foreman at a constrution site and he always shows me drawings of their site which motivate me to make this type of drawings so i choose Architecture. Some things should change is course curriculum as some subjects like structures should increase their credits bcoz of a more struggle to learn like architectural design. Their is good timing of exams but more days to take whole subjects. it took almost a month to complete 9 subjects exams.

I would rate 4 out 5 as it is a hardworking subject or course. U need a good design skills and imagination skills and u have also aware with school subject like physics and maths. It is difficult to give exam of architecture as it use terminology .

Remarks:

This college is good for study purpose but not good for extracurricular activities or social life. This is a typical architecture school. Which only focused to the studies, Classes and attendance.
