Remarks

The admission criteria require a minimum of 50 percent in your 12th Boards and cleared NATA or JEE examination. You need to take your photographs, the IPU receipt you got, your entrance paper results, your mark sheets.

Course Curriculum Overview

Architecture is an interesting 5 years course having 30 - 40 students in 1 section. The faculty is friendly and they have amazing teaching methods. Every semester end there is an exam and mid-term or mid-semester exams called sessionals.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 127000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In Barch, you won't have the firms or companies that come to your college. You have to make your own portfolio of all the designs of 5 years (best designs you made in college or competitions. You can take up your thesis design into consideration as well for the portfolio.

Fees and Financial Aid

A scholarship scheme is being provided by IPU. You have an internship during the 5th year of your studies. And the fee is about 1,27,000. Campus jobs or placements are not in the B.arch course. You need to send your portfolios to the firms for your placements or jobs.

Campus Life

Vikiran is an annual fest that occurs every year in college and the architectural fest occurs having fashion shows, Dance competitions, designing shows, food stalls, etc. In the library, there are a variety of books under different sections of their respective branches. There is a Dance club, environmental club, speaking club, and lots more.

Hostel Facilities

There are Ac and Non - Ac rooms, having triple, double and single room accomodation. There is a mess as well. Apart from this during this pandemic, you can only take single and double rooms. The meal quality is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Name of companies: google, Microsoft, TATA, RELIANCE, ZOMATO, ACCENTURE, GAIL, HPCL, DE SHAW, FLIPKART, AMAZON, MEESHO, L&T etc. More than 90% students get placed from all branches Highest packages offered around 1Cr. Course Curriculum Overview:

As my father is an foreman at a constrution site and he always shows me drawings of their site which motivate me to make this type of drawings so i choose Architecture. Some things should change is course curriculum as some subjects like structures should increase their credits bcoz of a more struggle to learn like architectural design. Their is good timing of exams but more days to take whole subjects. it took almost a month to complete 9 subjects exams.

I would rate 4 out 5 as it is a hardworking subject or course. U need a good design skills and imagination skills and u have also aware with school subject like physics and maths. It is difficult to give exam of architecture as it use terminology .

Remarks:

This college is good for study purpose but not good for extracurricular activities or social life. This is a typical architecture school. Which only focused to the studies, Classes and attendance.
