Remarks
The colleges to which I applied were Christ University Bengaluru, Bharti vidyapeeth Pune, and National PG. I didn't attend Christ College because they were asking for management fees because my grades were not relevant. I also didn't attend National PG because my parents did not want me to attend any college from Lucknow. So I took admission to Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune. No, I haven't availed quota for admission. Admission criteria were of scoring a minimum of 50% in 10th & 12th. Speaking about the admission process there was a written test and then there was counseling based on merits such as rank and score.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in the management field. The faculty: student ratio is good like there is no large number of students strength per teacher. It was a decent faculty: student ratio. The majority of faculty were Bcom and MBA graduates. There was a time gap of 4 to 5 months in term exams and it was a moderate level of exams.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as Aditya Birla Grou, Bajaj Finserv, DC consultancies, and Unschool are companies that provided internship opportunities to our college students. The stipend was performance-based. The projects given to the students were class presentations, represent business models and social work such as road safety campaigns, blood donations, and visits to orphanages and NGOs were conducted to awareness about social wellness.
Placement Experience
From semester 5th students become eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Webcreatify and Vitana visited the campus and a large number of offers were made. After BBA highest package was 4.5 lacs per annum and the average was about 2 lacs per annum. 40 % percent of students were placed after getting placements. My plan is to pursue MBA after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the course was Rs. 79300 per year. There were opportunities for scholarship such as the student exchange program at Linnaeus University in Sweden, No there was no financial assistance or campus jobs.
Campus Life
Certain college fests such as IMED expressions, IMED gems, and KYC (Know Your Campus) were some of the fests that were conducted in college. Yes, there is an abundance of books and journals in the library. There were amenities in classrooms. Sports activities for students such as cricket, volleyball, basketball, and athletics. IMAC I.e IMED Music Art and Club was conducted by students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities were not that good because of poor meal quality and menu but dinner was still fine. Register process for hostel and affordability was fine. In Kothrud I rented a flat along with four students.
