The eligibilty is Graduation in any stream of Basic Science with min 50%. There is a counseling day for the admitted students, on that day the students get facilitated by the higher authorities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

My course is MSc in microbiology, as there is scope for a job in the future that is the reason i chose this course. The faculty is quite experienced with qualifications as PhD and post-doc in their respective subjects. The teaching method is theoretically based along with presentations and some laboratory work. Every semester there are 2 midterms exams and one project submission, the exams are not very difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3

The internship is provided by the college itself in some hospitals or research labs. The internship includes some stipends also, but the internship that is being offered in the college does not include a stipend.

Placement Experience

2.5

In the last year, the students become eligible for campus placement. The companies that visit our college are pharmacy related and R&D related. The average package offered is 3.5-4 lakh per annum . The % of students getting placed is 40%. As many want to pursue higher studies. After masters i plan to prepare for jrf.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 83000. The course is of 2 years. Every year there is some hike in the fees . At the time of admission as i have done my bachelors from the same college i got 30% discount in the fees for the 1st year. There is separate fee submission for end sem examinations.

Campus Life

3.5

The annaul fest is Technoraaz which takes place every year in the month of september for 3 consecutive days. It includes many competitions between inter colleges. The library is rich with books, every student can issue 2 books on there id card and have to return after the time period of 14 days. The classroom includes ducting. The sports day happens every year for 3 days .

Interview Experience

3

The topics of GD were very easy, like what was your percentage in the graduation and why did you choose this subject for doing masters. The criteria for admission is , filling of the online application form worth rupees 1100, after that submission of documents like migration and graduation marksheet. Followed by an interview and then counseling day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The course curriculum was specifically based on giving more knowledge and insights about the course I chose. I went onto specialization and chose microbiology and learnt that it has various other fields because of the curriculum. - The course and lab prepares well for the real-world applications. - There should have been more hands-on experience with some lab equipments and some teachers should have given more guidance to the students. - Frequency of exams and difficulty level was good. No complaints about that.
