Remarks

Only applied for this college through TENA counseling because it's near to my home, And they had the first graduate scholarship fees concession. Yes, I had an OBC quota. For me, in CSE the cut-off mark is 140 minimum. Admission is very good through tena.

I chose CSE because it's trending in my time and also the growth of IT sectors in India and also I loved it. CSE in Vel Tech High Tech College is good as there are supporting staff. Mostly all faculties are holding PhDs. Yes, there are Continuous assessment tests know as CAT every month and they will be moderate in nature.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not available in the college but if you need to do you must try to make it on your own. If you going to do an internship in top companies the college will support you and provide OD.

Placement Experience

From the 7th sem, the students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, CTS, Wipro, L&T, Mind Tree, Mu Sigma are continuous visitors every year for placements. The highest package is 10 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. 80 % of students will be placed I'm our department.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is: Rs. 68000 per year. They providing many scholarships. Like First Graduate scholarship amount Rs 25000 per year. They also provide financial assistance in the form of an educational loan.

Campus Life

Avishkaar is the annual fest and tech fest in the college conducted every year. Yes the college has a very good library with lots of books. The classrooms will be pleasant. If you are a sports person the college will support you in everything. Yes, there are extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, YRC, etc. On our campus.

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

Not a topper but a good learner

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.

I choose veltech because it near the borders of Andhra which is my residence so it would be Convenient to join here I have also applied for Sathyabama,rajalakshmi,RMK,and even panimalar college too.
