Pune Institute of business management is a college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and AICTE approved. MBA and PGDM are the courses offered by PIBM. The college really works on the personality development of the student. It also provides 2 internships SIP and WIP. Along with some certification courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

Weekly exams are conducted on communication and aptitude and subject tests from moderate to difficult levels. Separate training will be provided for communication and Aptitude development as they have a separate department for it.

Internships Opportunities

At the end of every semester, you need to submit one final project of any company or product which must be research-oriented. They also teach you several tools and other technical knowledge which will be required to improve your skill sets.

Placement Experience

The college will provide 100% placement to all of its students. And will provide opportunities to get placed until you will get placed. It also provides JD-based training for every job role with industry experts. Weekly it organizes corporate sessions where industry experts share their knowledge and you can interact with them to learn more.

Many renowned companies such as Deloittee, P&G, ITC, Mondelez, Flipkart, Asian Paints, Hershey's, etc come for the final placements of the second year students.There are more than 160 companies who come for final placements. The average package is 6 lakhs and highest package last year was 10 lakhs. Profiles that were offered were for FMCG, BSFI, Education, Media, IT, etc. Around 90% of students got placed in the final placements due to the proper training provided by the placement cell for the interviews and job roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue a distance learning course after completing my Chartered Accountancy course because I was working as well. So I opted for SCDL as I got the freedom to choose my exam slots as per my availability and at the same time, I was able to manage my job. We had 17 subjects in the entire course duration and 17 assignments of each subject and a project at the end. The faculty was less as compared to the number of students in a batch as the class strength was more than 30 and the faculty members were 12. Each one of our teachers was well-qualified and was well-versed in their subject. There were virtual classes of every subject and we used to study online in group sessions. The teachers used to teach us from Powerpoint presentations. The exams were held once each month. There was an 80 minutes online exam at the respective examination center allotted to us. The exam contained multiple choice questions on the subject. The level of exams was exam and it was not tough to pass the exams.

For final placements, it's mostly after sem3 you become eligible. I have heard various companies visit the campus with excellent growth opportunities.

A journey I chose which is just pretty awesome till now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course since I had a bit of interest in chemistry, a bit in biology, a bit in maths when I was in 12th and deciding the course. Pharmacy and MBA provide me with a huge range of knowledge and my field of interest. The faculty here are just awesome, they are literally on their toes to help at any point of difficulty be it academic-wise or non-academic. I feel like a family here. We are provided with mentors (1 teacher: 5 students). 1:60 ratio in class and 2:22 ratio during lab work. The moment you chose the course and are into it every week is an examination. But thanks to the faculty to make our lives easier by timely finishing the portion, providing tutorials and study materials.
