Gulbarga University (GU), Karnataka is a state-owned University that was established in 1980. GU has more than 37 teaching departments and four research centers and also acts as an affiliating university. The University offers various UG, PG, and Doctoral programmes in the field of Commerce, Arts, Management, Science, Visual Arts, Computer Application, and Law.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders. They make students ready for industry, and to tackle real problems. Exams are difficult, and the passing percentage is 82%. The quality of education is very good in this college because they make students face competition exams at the state level.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students opted for higher education, so our college did not focus on providing placements and focused on providing knowledge of the business course. Only 10% of the students joined companies or opted for jobs to earn some money and gain experience in the field of business.
Campus Life
Gulbarga University Central Library is Wi-Fi enabled and is known for it collection of rare books. It has a collection of 2,27,831 books, subscribes 654 scientific journals, 16 CD-ROM databases, 5800Gulbarga University has 8 hostels accommodating 1100 students in total - 5 for boys and 3 for girls hostels.
