My Journey with this college

After dropout from the Medical exam (AIPMT), I was looking for a course in the same field as same as medical. I got to know about few colleges which are providing biotechnology as a subject including Dr B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology, JNU, Amity, Maharaja college, and others. I visited the colleges after that I got to know that the lab facility which Dr B. Lal Institute was far better than the other colleges. Admission Criteria includes a minimum of 60% Marks in Science. On the day of counselling, I still remember I visited the campus with my mother and met the counsellor. She briefed us out about the college, its facilities and other things about the course.

I choose this course because when I was in 10+2 I had the subject Biotechnology as an additional subject and I want to choose the field same as the medical one. For faculty: Student ratio, As this is a single domain college each and every student has been taken care of for each and everything. All teaching faculties had done their PhD's in the respective domains relatable to the subject of Biotechnology. There are certain class tests which are there on weekly basis, other than these there are Midterms which take care of by the college itself and the final exams are thereby the university of Rajasthan.

Research Assistant, Student Counsellors, Lab Learning Modules, Thesis Writing, and other internships are available with this college. Different research projects were given to the students and a timeline of 3 months or 6 months they have to complete the thesis and submit to their respective guides.

Last Semester B.Sc. 3rd Year, a number of companies are visiting over here for the placements including all biotechnology related companies of different sectors. The highest package and average packages may differ according to the work profiles. Almost 70% of students get placed from the campus or they go for the higher studies. Working with a healthcare-based company.

Fees Hike Policy is maintained by the University of Rajasthan. Scholarship depends on the student's academic record, Financial assistance- student can pay the fees in instalments and campus jobs- Internships are there for the students for their learning and skill enhancement.

Biochrome, A Techno-Cultural Fest one of the most awaited times for any student who all were there at that time. Probably in the month of December, it took place. All the related books to the subjects are available there at the Vivekananda library for the students. Smart class for the studies, video lectures and air conditioned lecture rooms. Indoor and outdoor sports including Table Tennis, Volleyball, Chess, Carrom etc are available at the campus. Technical Club, Cultural Clubs and other clubs are there at the college.

Why do I want to choose this college only? What are my future goals? What do I expect from this college? and Other Questions. Process and other criteria for admission include the counselling session with a counsellor, a Minimum of 60% marks in the 10+2 Science Bio Stream and the minimum payable fee for the admission. I didn't want to prepare for these rounds as it is very common to know the answers to these questions.
