OJEE - Odisha JEE. I scored 4000 out of 20,000 students in 2002. The college was new but rapidly gaining lot of popularity due to good name.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very competitive and good. As I was in EEE branch, the course was fully equipped with to train us in all the aspects of the EEE branch. In addition to the theoretical classes, we also had weekly practical sessions which was taking place with the help of lab technicians.
Internships Opportunities
I passed out from the college in 2006. I am not aware but I am confident that they should have started some internship process fro sure.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement cell also. We had some 5-6 it companies along with some core companies that visited during our tenure. Now a days , there are more that 10 companies that visit the college. There is very well disciplined way of conducting all the rounds of the interview being carried out by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and is in par with the other reputed private colleges in the state. The total fees can be paid in 4 equal installments through out the 4 years of the engineering ours. In my passing out year , it was around 2.5 L for the entire 4 years.
Exam Structure
All the internal / semester exams were carried in a very regular / disciplined manner in the college. There used to be invigilators in the exam halls to monitor and facilitate the exam process. The exam use to start in the correct timings and the results were displayed / circulated in timely manners.
Admission
After passing the OJEE , we had to attend the state JEE counselling . In the counselling, depending on the score in JEE, we had to select any college that is available for us during that period. After selecting the particular college , we had to visit the respective desk in which the respective college people were present to explain about the admission process.
Faculty
Faculties were very well trained and open to questions all the time. Few faculties were also from the industry and had industry experience and they use to give us that aspect of real time implementations also. All the faculties were selected on the basis for good B.tech/ M.tech degrees from good colleges.
