Disha's Review On ESEDS School Of Design, Kolkata

I was recommended by one of the alumni of eseds. I have attempted through one and one interview. And also we have one group discussion session. I had to show my artworks, like illustrations, designs, surface works. After some days I get to know that I got selected for admission.

In kolkata only eseds was provided the sustainable fashion design and management course, The faculties are really engaging and students ratio is 1:8, they are all came from reputed colleges, and their teaching method is good , the term exams are on time and the exams are not that difficult.

Companies like Tanya Gupta, CR clothing, the sixth Avenue offered internships with stipends. Projects like designing, technical details, and sketches, understanding the dynamics of the industry, and more into management part of the fashion industry.

From semesters 5 and 6 we become eligible for internships and placements. Companies like Anam, Tanya Gupta, the door of maai, etc. Not yet placed as I am still pursuing this course and will be going for internships. Plans after getting a degree to become an amazing Fashion Designer maybe under a bring brand or would own something for me.

The fees structure is semester-based, the total amount for the 3 years course is 540000/- . I haven't provided any scholarship, financial assistance and I didn't get any campus jobs yet from the college.

Life at the campus is amazing. There's this availability of books and journals in the library. For fashion, we have amenities of labs and stitching machines. We have sports like basketball and pool tables. We attain clubs like design clubs for further fun activities.

The gd was about teamwork and ideation, and in an interview, they asked me about the psychology behind my design, how I came up with concepts, the admission process was really easy. Preparation for this was a reference to books and magazines.
