Entrance Preview
There was no entrance exam as such. Applied through normal registration form and got selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was the most attractive and in demand during that time. It included Value add learning's apart from regular syllabus such as Stock Market operations, Marketing mix, etc. This course helped us in marketing ourselves better than other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
Yes it provides for the students who have scored consistently well in their previous academics (guess above 80 to 90%). But you need to talk to the management (Chairman Chainraj Jain) to get the approval.
Placement Experience
I got placed through campus hire and it has been a tremendous journey so far. In your final year, there will be lot of major companies visiting the college for campus recruitment. Each company has different expectation and requirement. The college Dean ensures that the deserve candidates get enough opportunity (please talk to him/her and express your career plan).
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are provided (but no idea for the eligibility and procedure). And don't think so any loan facility is provided.
Campus Life
Campus was extremely well with new setup, A/C class rooms (we were the first privileged batch from JC road campus). Participating in yearly fest, there was lot of support an motivation from the sports management team to students who wanted to direct their carriers towards Sports. Similarly to other extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Not really, I have not participated in the Alumni network event so far. But in connect with some of the senior students still.
Exam Structure
We used to have pre-test before the exams, but the semester system was introduced to our batch (in 2004), hence there was very less time gap between each semester and covering of syllabus in the given time period. This resulted in lot of confusion an at times and uncertainty during crucial dates/examination.
Faculty
We had some excellent and expert faculty who were kind enough to make an effort to match the thinking of young students and put across the syllabus in our mind. I have forgotten most of my lectures name except few my favorite Ullas sir (Stats), Aparna maam (Economics).
