VR Siddartha Enginneering College

I have applied for so many colleges like Andhra university, Jntu Kakinada and so many college es during counselling. But finally got ece branch in vr siddartha college vijayawada. My ap eamcet rank was 10620 and I belong to bc- b category. Admission process is simple. First you have to pay 1200 for registration in ap eamcet counselling. After some days, you need fill your prefered colleges in descending order after that certicate verification at allotted centres nearby. You need to bring all your original certificates at counselling centre other wise you are out of counselling process

Staff members conduct optional exams and interacts with every student. They share their knowledge, and they answer all our doubts patiently. Semester-end exams papers are prepared by other colleges. Students with minimum knowledge can pass easily pass in the end sem. Course curriculum in the 1 year is like basic electricals, electronics, mech, m1, m2, che and labs, mechanics. We regularly have classes mrng 9 to1, then 2 to 4 labs. Faculty ratio is likely 1:18

The college offers many internships to the students .Students can do internships in their desired companies. They can do online internships in various companies like google ,crousera which are popular these times. From the beginning of 2nd year,students can get highly qualified intern certificates with special programs conducted by college.

I am pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering. I can avail for core and private opportunities as I wish.It is important to get placed in college itself as it was the most easiest way. Last year almost 80-85 percent students were placed. More chance to get placed in the clg itself.Almost more than 1000 we're placed students were placed in about 100companies with a maximum package od 21 lakhs per annum and a minimum of 3 lakhs per annum.

We got scholarship from ap government ysr jagananna vidya deewena of amount 20000.we don't recive any stipends. We have to pay hostle fees seperatly. Clg management hikes the hostle seat rent 5 to 10 percent every year. Cost of study is ok, suitable for average middle class student. Hostle life is very good. Many professors have phd degrees here with vast knowledge in the subjects. Internship opportunities are good.

There will be 2 major fests and big sports event in feb generally. Many programs like fests annual day and Nss and Ncc events were conducted continuously. They encourage students to actively participate and to improve their skills. College also encourages students to participate in various competitions conducted out of the campus. Sports were also be equally encouraged.Sports were given good importance in the college apart from academics.
