B.sc Agriculture in North India's Top College : Quantum University

I was looking for various Agriculture Government colleges like BCKV, UBKV, etc but their competition is very high for that then I started looking for private colleges, there I found Quantum University. Now I'm gonna tell you about Quantum University's admission process, basically, there is no quota system in this college but you will get some amount of fees relaxation to the students with Uttrakhand domicile it may vary from 2000-5000. There are no such criteria of marks, the age for admission, but you will get a scholarship based on your marks it ranges up to 10000 - 15000 Rs per academic year. On the day of admission counseling, you have to carry your all documents original and xerox copies including 10 passport size images. Documents include Addhar Card, Birth certificate,10th & 12th Board Marksheet and admit card, School leaving certificate / Migration certificate, Character certificate.

The course curriculum is a little bit hectic as there gonna be 8-10 major subjects plus one Value-added program and two minor subjects will be there per semester. But, faculties are here are well qualified and experienced and the teacher-student relationship is very friendly to complete the syllabus and all other study aspects.Their teaching method is also very effective audiovisual classes are very helpful and besides here teaching is done in both English and Hindi which is going to be helpful for all students from different states. Besides, you can clear your doubts and ask for assistance in any subject from any teacher at any time. They're gonna be 2 internal exam, 10 lab quizzes (physical/ CBT ), and a final exam every semester and if you study properly or at least attend the lectures you can easily pass all the exams with very good marks.

In the final year the last sem you are provided internships in various top companies to various local companies. Internships are of 2-3months duration. Students are allowed to find their own preferred internships.

Yes, there is a dedicated department for campus placement, placement drive starts in the final year, from the 7th Sem (4yr program) / 3rd Sem(2yr program) / 5th Sem(3yr program). Various top-level companies visit our college for agriculture like - Dabur, Patanjali, etc From 1.2 L.PA -14L.PA packages can be placed. Besides college provide Value-added programs to increase employability skills Almost most of the students get placed.

Academic fees per semester 37,000 - 45000 And hostel fees 67000-70000 per academic year including fooding, laundry. There is not such fees hike happens every other charge are mentioned in brochure-like minor subject fees vary from 500-5000 as per subjects you choose, in the first semester you have to pay for uniform and books. You can get Scholarship based on your 12th class marks from 8000-20000 per academic year Besides if you have a Uttrakhand domicile you can get financial assistance of 2000-5000 per academic year. There is no much job you can do to get paid on the campus.

Life on Campus is just awesome you will enjoy every moment on the college campus. There is an annual feast organized in the summer semester in the month of April - May named "Dharohar" which includes a sports feast named " Uddan". There is a huge two stored in campus library including various journals, newsletter, newspapers and up to 20 computers for reading e-journals. You will find all kinds of comforts in the classroom well-furnished furniture, lights, fans, and cleaning is done twice per day. The most important part of this college is they have passion programs to continue your passions and hobbies, in campus volleyball ground, basketball court, cricket ground, badminton court, football ground, and a kabaddi field. You will get a dedicated sports club. Besides they are various others clubs for singing, dancing, coding, robotics, rock climbing, creative writing, photography, gardening, art, etc.

You can avail of two types of hostel Ac and non - Ac. Two-person per room. Rooms are well equipped and neat and clean.24 x7 electricity and water supply available, washroom and corridors are cleaned every day with phenyl. Hostels are equipped with lifts. Besides you get in hostel newspaper reading section, gym, badminton courts. Here you also get a laundry facility 10cloths / week. Meal quality is average, food is hygienic but the taste is not soo good. In non-veg, you will only get egg curry and omelet. Hostel registration is done during admission and it's affordable. You can also easily get various PG just outside of campus but charges are a little high.
